Toshiba/ Insignia Remote control are one and the same.
I have the Insignia Fire TV and ordered the Insignia remote as a back up to the original. It was really quick to arrive and well wrapped in bubble wrap.However the Remote I received was the Toshiba remote and not the Insignia remote that was ordered. I put batteries inside and automatically my TV turned on without clicking the power button and I was on my way. So when the vendor says works on both Insignia and Toshiba Fire TV yes it does.

I like to eat Cheeto‘s when I watch TV.My dog likes to watch me eat Cheetos‘s while I watch TV.I like to use the remote when I watch TV while eating Cheetos.My dog likes to eat the remote because it taste like Cheetos.

Useful for about a month. Broke after return window closed.
Purchased this remote in April when our original remote was lost, put the batteries in and it worked fine.The return window closed May 31st. It is June 4th and the entire middle of the remote just died. The buttons on the circle and the button in the center of the circle (the one you need to select everything) is completely nonfunctional. There was no trauma to the remote, didn't drop it or do anything to it. Just turned the TV on and found those buttons didn't work. Tried changing the batteries, that didn't help.Can't return because the window closed. Bummer and a waste of money.

OMG! Love this!!!
I love this. Does not come with aaa batteries. I had plenty of my own though.... so. I still prefer it over the app. I like the fire tv app too, though.

Great product other than rediculous price.
Remote worked instantly on my Toshiba Fire TV with no set up. 50.00 is severely over priced. Best Buy has this same remote for 25.00. They were out when I needed it, which is why I ordered from here.

So far, so good
The remote arrived slightly damaged..not a huge deal, but worth noting. It came pretty quick & paired easily. Seems so work great so far! Only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because it was already damaged when I opened the package.
