Does a good job of venting my garage. As mentioned fly lead far too short. Let's hope it lasts I've only had it running a few hours intermittently as of yet.

Sort out the wiring
Most people will have a ducting to slot into , for some extremely stupid reason this fans wiring comes out into this duct, fetch it forward close to the blade area please, this seems to be a good fan let down by stupidity, It is a simple job to drill a new whole closer to the blades and extend the wiring, nick the grommet off the old hole and now a usable fan, a simple fix but impossible for the makers to work out DOH.Picture one shows the stupid wire outlet.Picture Two shows the wall cavity and the sleeving which the fan should slot into.Noise levels is reasonable, moving air always makes noise, was fairly silent until was fitted and started to do its job.Is it worth the money, probably not, but the all metal looks good let's see if it rusts.

Kitchen extract
Excellent product, good extraction rate when fitted over stove. Easy install.

Powerful and quiet as advertised
Good extraction rate, and with an operating noise level acceptable in the workshop environment. Only slight niggle... the connection lead is tiny. This needs extending/connecting to the power feed but because of the shortness of the fan lead, it has to be done under the fan shroud. Only a small complaint, but one easily remidied by the manufacturer by using a few pence more wire! Only just installed but working well so far.

Electrical supply cable too short and wire gauge too small
The cable is way too short, it's only just long enough to wire into a junction box right next to the fan casing. This needs to be at least 30cm long as a minimum, ideally 45cm (you could fit a 13amp plug then) and the gauge of the wire needs to be thicker, I don't know what it is but it's too small, it needs to be at least 0.75mm sq for the UK market. But apart from that it's a good extract fan, does it's job and is a good price - it would be excellent if the cable was longer and the wire a bit thicker :-)
