Canon Rebel SL1/EOS 100D (Expanded Guides) Review: Excellent and compact guides that give you information on how to get the most out of your new camera. - We love this series of books and have them for most of our current cameras (we are waiting for the one covering the Canon 7D II, but have them for our Canon 70D, Canon 6D and Canon SL1 - wish they had one for the Fujifilm X100S/T). They are small enough to carry with you but contain enough information and are easy enough to access when you hit that "how do I do that" question. Comprehensive and accurate, we love them. They tend to be difficult to get because they are printed/published in the UK, but they are worth the wait. Suitable for people that are somewhat familiar with photography and photographic principals, they are not beginners guides, more a guide for the more experienced photographer on how to get the most out of their new camera. Thoroughly recommended. Review: Good reference... - Gets into the camera explanation in detail...

If you have this camera this is a good book of information, more than in the camera manual.

sl1/eos 100d expanded guide by David taylor
I am finding this book very helpful. I lost my instruction manual and didn't know which of the books to buy that would explain even more than the camera manual. This book is easy to understand and goes into detail beyond the basics

Bought as a gift for my father in law; it's got plenty of tips, guides and simple step by step instructions that have made a novice user able to take some decent shots and feel comfortable in playing arou d with the various settings on this camera. A must buy if you have just got this camera.
