After a heater fail had to order one and get it here fast. I set the heater and put it in the tank.Waited 15 min.then plugged it in. The next morning the water temp was right on the money.My fish thank you.

Great heater! My only complaint is that it is about 3-5 degrees hotter than it should be. I originally had it set at 77 and it was heating just right at 80. I cut it back to 75 and it is heating right at 79. My betta fish love it.

The suction cups pop loose occasionally but it is a turtle who can get wild swimming. It heats up the water, is sturdy, nice build, great digital thermostat, great price. The temperature control on the heater and the thermostat does not match up. I had to turn the heater down much lower than the setting showed compared to the digital thermostat temperature shown. I love that it has a digital thermostat. Many heaters are not accurate though which is why it is always recommended to use multiple thermostats in your tank no matter the brand. I would recommend it to a friend but get multiple thermostats with any heater you buy.

Works fine, but temperature dial is extremely off. Setting it to 71 in one tank will keep it at 80 and 75 in another keeps it at 78. There's no standard measured amount of water that will give the correct temps for the dial, so you really have to guess what temp you're going to get when you turn it.

The product seems great for the price the only thing I was disappointed with was the size of the heater itself. It’s far too large for a 5 gallon tank, even though it’s designed for nano tanks. It’s as long as my forearm. Returning tomorrow. :(

i had to sit this on a angle on my tank. it says to not sit in sand. also has to fully be under water. but its too tall for a 5 gallon tank. keep an eye on the temp. works as it shouldUPDATE: after owning and using for a few months now it took a dump on me just before xmas. ive got betta in a 5gal tank. the worst time for a heater to go bad. suck too cause it was working perfect. then i noticed it wasnt heating after a while. even maxing out the dial it still wont heat. dont waste your money. buy a submerge heater instead.

I bought this heater for my 5.5 gallon Betta tank. It keeps accurate temperature and stays in place. It’s easy to use.
