60 Watt 800 GPH 6.0 ft Power Cord Spa Tub Swimming Pool Cover Pump, Above Ground Pool Drain Pump

This pump was purchased on August 31, 2020... At first, it seemed like a Great Pump and what I have needed for years...I used it to remove the water off my pool cover and kept it free of debris such as leaves and sticks that blew onto the cover.It even removed the water one day when some ICE formed on top of the water and successfully drained the majority of the water from under the ice. I turned it off at that point while the pump was still trickling some water out. (It was still functioning at that point)It worked great right up until it decided to "DIE ON ME!"The water was not frozen when I turned it on today 12/31/2020. Nothing happened... I brought it inside, cleaned it (from the algae that formed on it) plugged it in, and saw the impeller no longer spins... I get absolutely no action when plugged in.I am REALLY disappointed with this pump. It died exactly 4 months after the day of purchase...I am glad I did not purchase this pump for my Koi pond!"I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PUMP AT ALL!"

Was looking for a way to empty our above ground pool for the winter without changing the liner, bought this pump and a 10 foot 1/2" tubing for the job. Worked great! Only 'assembly' required is to determine what size / diameter tubing you are going to use, screw in the corresponding hose attachment and plug it in. Had drained as much of the pool as I could via the pool filter system. Still had 3/4 full pool to empty. This little pump with the 1/2" hose emptied our 15" round pool almost as fast as it took to fill it up with the garden hose. Great Job. Had to use the pump after every rain storm to drain out 2 to 4 inches of rain (Arizona Monsoons) and it has worked great every time. Will be buying another one of these for a outdoor fountain project my wife has in mind.

I used this to get rain water off of my above ground pool. There wasn't a hose that came with it so I had to go buy a plastic hose to go on it. The hose you have to buy is small in diamiter and so the drainage of water is slow. A garden hose won't fit it. The first pump that I bought was a Little Giant pump and it worked a lot better and you could hook a garden hose to it. There for water drained a lot faster. It would have lasted longer than 2 year but I kept forgetting that it was plugged up and I guess I burnt it up. I will pay more attention with the next Little Giant I buy. I would give the Little Giant a five.

A lot smaller than expected. It gets the job done if there is only a day or so worth of rain on your pool cover. Much more than that and you will be waiting a while. The bag that comes with it works extremely well keeping leaves and debris out of your pump. This product is more for aquariums than a pool cover. If you are looking for a pump for your aquarium then this is a great product.

The pump is awesome for my 20-gallon aquarium to circulate the water to a 100 micron cartridge filter. I connected with a 1/2" NPT x 3/8 tube to the 100 micron filter and working great. Less noise than my previous pump of 400-800 GPH.

Love this, purchased it to siphon the water off the swimming pool cover and it works great.

The pump stopped working after a coupleWeeks. Replaced it and it’s second one stopped working also.
