Thin as Babies hair...and as tough as Grandpa...
Great Braid ! It does have a little color bleed 1st few uses. I always spool my braid from a bowl of warm water, and put the line thru a wet towel for pressure. Braid sets in better when spooled up with at least 10lbs pressure...If you are alone, put a wet towel on the floor and run the line through that while you apply pressure with your foot. I bought the Black 15lb test, which was soooo thin, I was amazed. Looked like Sewing thread. I've used braid for past 10 yrs and love it...as long as you don't (can't) bite it, or try to grab the the line and pull on it...this stuff will cut you CLEAN to the bone! Use a nice sharp knife or quality scissors. A lighter works too, bit it leaves a melted 'Ball'. LEARN your knots, Braid is only reliable with the right knot. Braid needs Friction to hold tight, so 'Double up' your knots. The line is so thin, you won't see it in the water, and neither will the fish !!!!. Palomar knot works excellent all around. Or a Clinch knot, if you run thru the hook eye twice before tying. Be Generous with the tag end... THIS stuff is tough and casts a Mile ! Ordering more now.... Monofilament is a joke now...We have line that is basically un-affected by Sun / UV, doesn't stretch, and brings the fish in every time. Super Abrasion Resistant !! I have pulled lures from snags and all I get is a bent hook and the lure back almost every time !!! Switch and Learn ! You won't go Back ! ! Good Stuff!!

Quality line
I’ve been hesitant with most braided fishing lines. This was the first I have used that didn’t bunch, gather, or simply come undone. I was able to use traditional knots to tie my hook and the knot did not give. The case made loading my spoil super easy.

Will kink very badly
At first, it seemed like a great line. There is a very nice hard plastic capsule case for the roll. The line seems strong and first few sessions shows it has good strength. However, it soon quickly started knotting, skipping line off the reel, and coils on wavy and oddly. I initially spooled the line at tension and in the right direction onto a spinning reel. It occasionally bit too deeply which catches the line. First few casts with a weight resolved the initial issue but it very quickly started to form knots in the line. It went to the extent that theres a large knot nearly every 10 ft or so of line and become unusable, even with heavier lures. This is not suited for ultralight reels and lures, maybe not even for light spoons and spinners. It needs something at least 1/4~1/2 oz to cast decently

MAGREEL BRAIDED FISHING LINE
I bought this braid fishing line for new reels that I had purchased, and won, Piscifun Phantom X, and a Flame 2000 ! The line breaks really easy, lost a couple of fish, and breaks during casting, and lost a couple of good lures ! When i set the hook, I expect the line to bring up what I have caught ! When the line breaks with a fish on it, this will usually kill it !! Not pleased with this purchase ! I bought 15lb. & 40lb. test line !! BOTH SPOOLS ARE BAD !! I WILL BE CONTACTING MAGREEL, AND EXPRESSING MY OPINION !!!

Good deal.
Small and light. Worked ok. Careful what knots you use. Slips. Small string is smooth but a knot is very hard to remove. No backlash but a few eye ring tangles at the lure because it slips into the rings and clasps easy. Strong.

Sturdy Line, Firm Knots, Great Packaging
Highly durable line at a great price. Was hesitant about the braided design and it’s ability to tie firm knots, but this did not disappoint. Line is sturdy enough to not get blown about in the wind on long casts and is very responsive when setting a hook. Haven’t experienced any stretching when it comes to a fighter. Container design makes for an easy and tangle free way to load your spool.

Tough line!
Tough line. I got caught in a laydown and really tested this line. I pulled very hard, and tried my best to break this line. I eventually pulled it loose. Not sure what it would take to break it. It casts nice and doesn't make much noise when reeling.

Why would anyone buy this garbage?
Wow o wow, I didn’t know Amazon allow used/returned items and nowhere was I informed about buying garbage like this, please take a look at the photos - that’s how it looked right out of the box (the seal sticker on the box looks intact but was peeling off so it could be opened without breaking it).I’ll be returning this right away but I have to leave a quick warning here to warn anyone who see this.

Magreel Braided Fishing Line Weight Spec Incorrect
Ordered Magreel 15lb braided fishing line with good expectations after some positive reviews and curious after some negative reviews. Who do you believe! The negative review I read was that this line could not lift the spec weight. I attempted to pick up a plastic 15lb weight ensuring that the knot I tied was not the reason the line broke. The Magreel braided failed big time after several attempts. Magreel 15lb braided will “never” be on my fishing reel. I returned the line to the vendor.

Breaks easy
I would rate this line closer to 15lb then 40lb. I have lost some expensive divers due to the low breaking strength of this line.

Je ne recommande pas
La ligne 80lb n'est pas de bonne qualité...ça bloque toujours sur votre moulinet...il faut toujours mouillé avec l'eau...
