I needed a new rod as my previously owned and well loved one finally was not fit for use after many years of use. I wanted to make sure that it’s replacement was just as good as quality and would last for many years to come.This fishing rod is very good for all types of course fish found in various different still water areas as well as in rivers. It is very well made and easy to put together. It comes broken down into 4 pieces which are easily slotted together.When the rod is whole it is extremely strong and lightweight which is very handy as I fish for long periods of time. It comes in a very good and strong carry case which has a strap for easy carrying . I love the carry case as it has a hard shell so when the rod is not in use it is fully protected whether in the garage storage or in my car in between trips.

I am not a competent fisherman but in my opinion I think these rods are good valve for money. I like the carry case and the rod feels light but sturdy. I have caught some largeish carp, 12 lb, with no problems. Got these for my sons, the six foot version is a little too short for coarse fishing IMO.

I'm not the die hard angler nor professional angler. Weekend and days off holidays etc. Good size and quality for the price. A bit weighty to hold with tackle but ideal for rests and bank stands. Just right for my needs thanks seller.

First use the bail arm came off as the screw wasn't fully tightened from manufacture. After fixing I found it tangles line up when reeling in extremely easily and gets pulled under and into the gearing. Second use the drag adjuster on the front flew off and into the water and this useless thing is now in the bin.Worst reel I've ever bought.

Seems a well made product, nice hard case and casts well within its weight limits.
