The Cucina Antica Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce that I received was too watery and had to be cooked down to thicken because it wasn't going to stick to pasta as is. On March 5th, 2020, I purchased (6) 32 oz. jars directly from Cucina Antica Foods Corp for $35.94 ($5.99 per jar with free shipping). Then on March 10th, 2020, they raised the price for the same (6) 32 oz. jars to $63.46 (An increase of $4.59 per jar. A whopping $10.58 per jar).

What Hope said, lol. This sauce is amazing, the 16-oz size is perfect, and it's great for so many recipes or just plain with some nice pasta. Heck, I think I could eat it as a soup, it's that good. The no-sugar added feature and the lower sodium content was what first drew me to purchase. But it's the fresh, uncomplicated, and absolutely delicious taste that will keep me buying for as long as they make it.Packaging is extremely protective - even UPS couldn't manage to break these in transit!Update: I joked in my original review that I could probably eat this as a soup. Well, I tried it and it was delicious. I was making grilled cheese sandwiches and had no tomato soup on hand (and I love tomato soup with my grilled cheese!). So I dumped a jar of this into a saucepan, heating it while stirring in milk until it was the desired consistency and color. I didn't measure, but I'd guess I used a little over a cup of milk to 16 oz of the sauce. I then used an immersion blender to smooth it out, since the sauce is a little chunkier than tomato soup would ordinarily be (this additional step was more just to fool my family). Anyway, I've made this soup at least twice more since and everyone just loves it. Given how tasty and how much healthier this is, I'll never do canned tomato soup again.

I found this product at an Earth Fare store which is an hour from where I live. It retails for about $10 per jar. At first, I thought this was a lot to spend on spaghetti sauce, but after trying it one time, it was worth every penney and more! This is absolutely the most wonderful marinara I have EVER tasted. It is like you just made it yourself from fresh ingredients. The flavor is awesome. It does not taste like pre-made spaghetti sauce at all. I couldn't get back to the health food store recently, so I bought something I thought would be similar. No comparison. I can get more of this heavenly sauce at Amazon and glad I won't have to drive two hours round trip. If you love a tomatoey, fresh, natural marinara sauce, give this a try. The tomatoes are imported from Italy and grown in the foothills of Mt. Vesuvius. I gave jars of sauce for Christmas presents this year. I can't wait to try all the flavors, but right now, the garlic marinara is my favorite. You won't go back to those other sauces again! Absolutely the best available. :)

With diabetes in my family, I have been on a mission to find the best tasting low sugar (no sugar added) pasta sauce for the last few months. I have tried every organic/low sugar sauce sold by our local Publix and Kroger grocery stores. After trying 1 jar of this sauce I believe my search is finally at an end. It has a fantastic flavor, and is a good deal if you buy 6 jars at a time with free shipping direct from Cucina Antica. The 32 oz jars are the best deal.

This is an awesome deal! It's my favorite sauce in the larger jar, packed carefully and delivered quickly. I won't travel to a store to buy my pasta sauce if this offer remains.

This is quite possibly the best sauce available in a jar. Every other sauce you can get at the local market is heavily seasoned. Apparently, there are many who think Italian means put in as much garlic and oregano as possible. This sauce is lightly seasoned and does not have garlic. To me, garlic has to be fresh so it makes sense to leave it out of the preparation and add it later if you like. We use this sauce as it is from the jar as well as a base for primavera or al pesto. The 32 oz. jars are probably the best value available.

WE DO NOT ENJOY GARLIC. THIS SPAGHETTI SAUCE IS THE BEST BOTTLED SAUCE THAT WE HAVE TRIED. THIS TOMATO BASIL HAS NO GARLIC--NO GARLIC!!--AND WONDERFUL FLAVOR.
