The best tip for roses. Love this and use it plenty. Start in the center for roses and the outside to the middle for a mound.

I've had one of these for years but recently needed to buy more so I had enough for the Wonder Woman cake I was doing. These are easy to use and make a great rosette.

I absolutely hate baking. I’ve never really had an experience with cake decorating except for a phase a few years ago where I made 2 wedding cakes then realized I was horrible at it but that’s beside the point. I made and decorated a beautiful cake for my daughters 1st birthday and this made it very simple to create it. Pictures attached. I used a version of whipped cream frosting. Would have held shape better had I used a buttercream but I hate buttercream frosting ☺️

The Wilson 1M open star tip was wonderful, as every Wilton product I've used, is. The materials are quality, ensuring that I get the correct shape and size of the design with every cake. Their design makes it very easy to clean. I have purchased all of my cake decorating supplies through Wilton. It didn't cross my mind that with a wider tip,I also needed a wider coupler. A friendly reminder in the product description would have been helpful, but not necessary! Wilton...trustworthy yet again!

This is the tip you need to make big round rosettes, it's very easy (I tried to go very fast because I was running behind lol but it works well). This was made with Italian meringue buttercream so it's a little softer than an typical American buttercream. When using American buttercream they're much sharper and crispier (of course the Italian meringue buttercream tastes MUCH better in my opinion) but there are many tutorials on youtube to achieve the rosette look.

I was hesitant to get this tip but I went for it for affordability. I’m glad I did because it allowed me to try (for the first time ever) to make gorgeous rosettes. I practiced a bit after watching a YouTube video and then I did them all over and it was easy because of the big size.

Had one but having more means I can have multiple coloured icing bags prepped and ready to go saving me time when decorating.
