After 25 years maintaining my bikes with new chains (Campagnolo, Shimano, and KMC) at least twice a season. (2 or 3 bikes always in use) (so roughly 100-120 or more chains on my road and mountain bikes.This is the first time I've ever had such a poorly produced product. The chain literally seized (in two places) on my 3rd ride and couldn't be worked through. One of the links that seized after significant effort released, the other, no chance of ever releasing (I promise I took heroic efforts to get it to move).This problem with the chain is the result of incredibly poor production standards and very low precision in manufacturing. Don't trust the reviews you are reading!!!. There is no way I can believe having gone through over a 120+ chains flawlessly and the first time I tried these it was bad in two places. (I mean so bad it damaged my cassette getting back.I strongly suggest you look elsewhere and spend a few bucks more for a better quality product. (unless you want to risk the prospect of being stranded!, or doing more damage).Don't trust these reviews, I can't believe they are real after this experience.

I bought it because it was a lot less expensive than the name brands. It seems to work well. Shifts easily. I didn't give it 5 stars because my most important criteria is lifetime. I am a bicycle commuter, and my commute is 32 miles round trip, often in inclement weather an a section of gravel road. Chains take a beating, even though I clean them regularly.If its lifetime is comparable to a name-brand chain, I'll give it 5 stars without hesitation.

The engineer who designed KMC chains also designed the SUMC chain. It is highly polished if you like a shiny chain. KMC has a good reputation, and I'd say that SUMC will also have a good reputation. I put it on my 10 sp fat bike. It looks good and works very nicely for slick gear changes.

So far this chain seems fine. I just started riding with it along with a New cassette and jockey wheels. It shifts smooth without problems. I will know more in a few hundred more miles. I like the quick link to assemble the chain

This chain completely rusted and seized up in less than a year. I've been an avid cyclist for over a decade. I have multiple bikes and know how to care for and maintain all of them. I put this chain on in the Fall of 2020 and even with regular application of chain lube, this chain rusted and became completely useless by Summer of 2021. DO NOT BUY.

This chain was exactly as described. The quick links make it very easy to install. Went on quickly and works great!
