Simple Applique: Approachable Techniques, Easy Methods, Beautiful Results!

Kim Diehl is a master at applique and this book shows all of us how to do various methods of applique. The text is easy to follow and interesting. There are color pictures galore of various projects and detailed photographs of the steps of the techniques. She covers wool applique, hand applique and machine applique techniques. I would recommend this book for new as well as experienced stitchers.

I love this book. I do machine applique and love the tips Kim provides in this book. I do raw edge applique, but definitely want to try her method of using freezer paper.

Terrific instructional book. Anyone interesting in learning to applique or improving existing skills would benefit from this book. The bonus pattern was a real treat. Love K.D.'s work!

I have Kim Diehl Simple Harvest book. Have made several items out of it so I had to buy the Simple Appliqué book. Very informative and easy to understand for a novice quilter.

This is a great book for the Applique lessons! It does not have a lot of patterns but it is a great teaching book! Just reading through has taught some things I've been doing wrong! I do a lot of Applique!

This is one of my favorite quilt book authors. I've met her twice and she's just great. This really is a how-to-quilt book. There is only one pattern in it but it's worth it. Beautiful!

I have a lot of Kim Diehl books and this one seems to be a description on how to undertake applique Kim's style which is mostly included in all her other books. She does tell you a lot of helpful tips on her technique.

I'm very pleased with this book ,good clear instructions, can't wait to have a go , took a few days to get here.
