GAINWELL

I grew up with cast iron cookery. I never used a cleaning chain on any of them. Most of the time I had to recondition them. recently I had gotten small. one from a garage sale for $2. and thought what a bargain. I bought it home and condition it and everything stuck to it. I had already ordered the GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber and was waiting for it.The morning I received the GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber I had used the skillet for eggs and it stuck to it. I got so pissed off I just threw it in the garbage. The GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber came in the afternoon and I pulled out the skillet and used the GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber and it cleaned the pan with very little work. The next day I used the pan without seasoning it and worked perfectly.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THE GAINWELL Stainless Steel Chainmail Scrubber. I will never use anything each. All os my cast irons are my number one cooking pots. They are just getting better and better.

We use this for our cast iron skillets and it works well. I also will use it to get crusty pasta bits that might have been left on in a regular cooking pot. I will soak it in soapy dish water to clean off the grease.

There's nothing else you need to know. It works, and goes in the dishwasher. If it breaks or rusts, that's cuz you messed up, don't whine and complain and demand free stuff.

This cleans my cast iron pan so well! I never knew what I was missing. I will never clean it with anything else.Update: So glad I bought this! Still holding up and I haven't had to change out the sponge yet. This is so much better than using just the chain mail. The inner sponge gives a bit more support when pushing down to scrub the pan. Highly recommend!

I finally bought my first cast Iron pan and needed something to clean it with. The cast iron company recommended this and it works great. Really gets the pan clean no matter what I have cooked.

The metal part of the scrubber is great. It scrubbed off all the dirt and made my iron pan look like new. However, the claps of it is weak. It came off while scrubbing. The sponge was already too big while it was dry, but when wet it expanded even more. Therefore, the clasp came off. Wish they would find a better way to keep it shut. The ring that’s on there, also is just useless. It will swing around and get your fingers trapped. It hurts. All in all, it is a great product. Although, would not recommend scrubbing your pan with it after every use, because the seasoning will come off and defeat the purpose of a cast iron.

I like this scrubber, it does a great job of scraping stuck on foods from my carbon steel and cast iron pans with little work. The sponge can be replaced at any time as necessary. Has a ring so you can hang it to dry which I highly recommend. Its difficult to wring the sponge out well because of the chain mail cover. So hanging it in fresh air to dry will keep it from getting smelly

Got this and it worked perfectly to clean my cast iron pan. After all the scrubbing, I re-seasoned my pan. Made cornbread and it came out of the pan and onto the plate with zero effort.I like the loop on it, I have it hanging from a cup hook over my sink.
