Can I use on dry hair before the curling iron?

I don't know but maybe because it doesn't have much hold- I much preferred my brand - generic Paul Michell from Sally's. Howver, it is so weak it may be ok on dry- it is costly as it is not effective enough on wet.

I have medium length fine hair. Will this hold it in place all day?

I have baby fine hair that is short. This product works really well for me. I've been using it for awhile now and have reordered it.
