Sense-ation No-Pull Dog Harness (Black, Medium)

This harness has been a game-changer for walking my 40 lb dog. It was recommended to us by a dog trainer and we immediately noticed a huge difference in pulling. Highly recommended!

This is our second Sense-ation halter! Our springer spaniel loves it so much, she chewed up the first one! The halter is easy to put on and remove and puts just the right amount of pressure on the dog's breast bone to prevent pulling. Be sure the D-ring is centered on your dog's chest when adjusting the harness. When clipped to your dog's collar, the halter does an amazing job of preventing annoying pulling and allows your dog to get a sense of how to walk properly on a leash.

First off, it works. A true game changer when walking your dog. After months and months of tugging and pulling while walking...we tried this and immediately it worked. I thought at first that it was just a fluke. Waiting for it "not" to work, but that day has yet to come. After two months, it works better and better. You have to try it. My only concern is that I can't seem to tighten it. I got a medium since he was right on the cusp of small/medium. But I have yet to figure out how to make it smaller. But it still works and I am so very happy with our walks....so enjoyable.

My rescue hound/lab mix has been a puller from day one.I've tried everything from gentle leader to canny collars, choke and prong collars in conjubction with training throughout.I came across this harness in the book, When Pigs Fly, and decided to give it a try.My dog is now 1 1/2 and while less interested in pulling and jumping on folks...she is still very excitable and it is still a concern.The leash clasps to the front ring of the harness on the chest of the dog. As the dog begins to pull, she is turned toward the handler.The harness has give and does not hobble the dog.There is no learning/tolerance curve for your dog or you.It's easy to put on and take off and low and behold it works as well as the longest running technique I've used----the ugly prong collar.To put it mildly, I am thrilled to move my dog to a more comfortable and still effective control technique while we continue to work on her tendency to pull and jump.........I would highly recommend you give this harness a try if you have a dog with a similar history.....even if you, like I, have developed a pricey collection of harness and collars.

These used to be a good harness for walking dogs. I have two in purple size medium. I wanted a black one, in the same side.This is NOT the same as the older ones. It is SMALLER. same size. Medium. This will fit a SMALL dog not a medium dog. The webbing is cheaper and thin. There is less webbing so there is very little room to adjust it.I compared it to my other purple medium. It is not the same. Several inches shorter in each of the 3 sections.Extremely disappointing. I may have kept it even to the WEBBING IS THIN AND CHEAP.it’s a shame they no longer care about quality. I used to recommend to students. Not anymore.I am retiring this harness. What a pita.I have no respect for companies that cut costs by cutting materials and quality.

We use this harness on our dog, and it works incredibly well. She still pulls a little, but I love that the leash hooks into the front. My only issue with this harness is that it somewhat limits my dog's range of motion - it's more difficult for her to jump into the car, etc. I've had to take it off of her mid hike on a hike that required some climbing, as it was just too limiting for her. But on basic walks, it's a lifesaver. I wish it were just a tad bit easier to get on and off our dog, but it seems to fit her comfortably and is effective.

This harness fits my 39-lb cattle dog perfectly, isn't bulky and really solved pulling.The clasp started falling a few weeks ago and I'll be repurchasing as I'm not happy about the one I just bought to replace this one.

The Sense-ation No-Pull Dog Harness is amazing! My five month old Golden Retriever walks wonderfully on this and to have the ability to also attach it to his collar for extra control is great! It's very easy to get on, well, he honestly holds still because he's happy to be going for a walk! I still think one could do it even with an obstreporous pup! Remember to adjust the fit often in a growing pup! He will be a big dog and will eventually be in a large, but maybe miraculously, he won't think to pull, but I'm set for a Large when the time comes!
