Good quality
Bough 2 for the train layout I'm building. The only drawback is the track door don't stay on they fall off after you think there on, so I glued them open and that works for me. This is a typical problem not just a Kato but on other models as well, so I don't fault them. Other than this good quality.

GOOD BUILD
FUN first build - will need a few drops of thick CA glue to finish. Instructions are in Japanese but the You Tube build made it very easy. Superb quality, and a few options if you want them.

Nice N-Scale Building
This is a quality product, as are most Kato offerings. Additional parts are included for different track spacing options. Decals are all Japanese, but very clear English assembly instructions are included. Glue is not required, but I did glue a couple of places to add strength.

Not as easy to assemble as advertised.
Kit must have been on the shelf too long or exposed to heat. Parts did not fit well and wouldn’t hold together. I had to use glue. Beware of your track spacing as the kit can be assembled with two door spacings. Decals were in Japanese. Instructions said I could order USA ones. Kato USA replied that they don’t make them anymore. Other than that, looks good especially interior detail.

The best!
I started model railroading and have used several different types of track. I find that KATO is one of the best. Easy to put together and is very versatile. Their model buildings are easy to put together. The instructions are in Japanese and English... a little hard to understand.

イージーキットとあるように簡単です。複線幅を33mmか49.5mmに選べますが、そこのパーツの説明だけ読めばあとは説明書ほぼ見なくても作れるくらい簡単です。車庫の扉は付けても付けなくても良さそう(自分は付けなかった)。2つ組めば2両編成の電車や気動車を格納できると思います。 構造も簡単で丈夫でそこそこリアルと価格以上によく出来ていると思います。

I loved this model. In fact I bought two of them and they run and end very well. No glue required to build them and very little flashing to remove. Another great Kato product. 🙂👍🏼

A quality Kato product. You get a choice of centre platform size to suits assorted layouts. Benefits from a little paint and weathering.
