Worked perfectly with good power at doorbell chime.
This product (Doorbell Transformer UL certified Hardwired Door Chime Transformer Compatible with Ring Video Doorbell) was easy to install and works perfectly. The other one that I bought did not have enough ohms at the doorbell chime to work properly with the video doorbell. This one works with SimpliSafe video doorbell. If you replace an electronic chime, as you must do for the video doorbell, with a mechanical one, make sure you remove the diode(s) at the doorbell button(s). Mechanical chimes do not work like electronic chimes. You do NOT need the diode.

Not 16V/30VA, but otherwise OK
If you want or need a 16V/30VA transformer do not purchase this item. The item's descriptive picture shows 30VA output at 16V, but the actual item can only deliver 20VA per the picture I am posting.

Works for Ring Video Doorbell
Needed to upgrade my transformer so that my Ring Video Doorbell would still activate the chime inside my house. Took less than 10 min to install and works great.

The transformer didn’t last a month before it died and needed to be replaced.
