PERFECT!
1. Do NOT try to use this before your piercing is healed adequately. I tried to use at seven weeks post piercing, and it did not work. It hurt to high heaven, and I think my septum was still swollen. Lost faith in this product, but decided to try it again after another six weeks.2. Is 100% secure. Very small and discreet. I have large nostril Openings and you can see inside my nose pretty well. This little gem is not visible unless somebody is purposely looking up inside my nose. It stays completely hidden as long as the tabs are pointed upward. Even if the tabs move, nobody has ever noticed it.3. This piece is extremely comfortable! A little difficult to get in because it’s small and has 90° bends but is absolutely great!4. One photo is a full picture of my face, not trying to hide the piercing, but you can’t see it. Another photo is a close-up of my nose where the piercing is. I found this to be a photo I was looking for when I was trying to find, but could not find any photos like this. Another photo is of my nose with the clear retainer Pointing downward. Showing that even if it is peeking out, you can barely notice it. I even went to military drill with it in all weekend and nobody said a word.

Completely invisible and don't fall out, but painful to insert
The clear retainers in this pack are pretty flexible, so they are easier to get in your septum than I originally thought they would be. The only thing is that because the "arms" of the staple-shape are so short, I have to use a pair of thin pliers to hold one end while I insert it because my fingers get in the way. It actually does hurt to insert and remove because of the 90 degree angle that has to pass through your piercing, but after a few times it doesn't hurt as bad, and it will probably feel better after another few months of letting the piercing heal (my piercing is only 2 months old). Some reviewers have said that because the arms are so short, the retainer actually falls out. I have NOT had this problem and don't think I will. The width of the retainer is so small on my nose that it hugs my septum perfectly, and there is virtually no movement of the retainer when I'm wearing it. I was pierced pretty low, and even then, the retainer does not stick out of my nose when the arms are pointed down. I keep the arms pointed up because it is more comfortable, and they do not "fall" or flip down during the day. These retainers are quite sturdy and comfortable to wear once you get them in.I purchased the pack that is all clear 16g retainers because I knew the metal ones would not work for me. I was pierced with a large silver horseshoe, but when I flipped it up inside my nose, you could sometimes catch a glimpse of it in one side of my nose because of my deviated septum. I was worried that people might think I just always had boogers in my nose if they saw it on accident, so I knew I needed a clear retainer that I could wear to work instead of flipping up my horseshoe. These are definitely the answer to my problems.

Hides the piercing so great!
I love them and I'll continue using them. You have to be at the right angle to even realize I have something in my nose. The only thing I don't like is, they are so short that sometimes if I blow my nose or sleep with it in, it will fall out.

great and useful
worked great for my wisdom teeth surgery. got 16g and fit easy. easy to put in an take out, be careful when wearing because the bar is very short and i accidentally took mine out when blowing my nose. couldn't tell it was there, would wear again!

For your convenience.
Those who have wore a septum for years understand the struggles, especially if you need a septum for work, school, an occasion, etc if you don't want the hole to close.

Painful and hard to get in
These are extremely painful to put in and take out of my nose, i hate these and i never use them. there should NOT be an angle in these at all, those angles hurt alot, piercing holes arent angled! if you have a job that requires you hide your jewelry, youre either screwed or find plugs that are round or straight.

Hard to put in and fall out easy
Not sure if it’s just me but sometimes they fall out easy and they can be hard to put in the first couple of times. But they are super comfortable once you get them in

Exactly what I needed!
I was a bit worried as some reviews said these retainers can be difficult to put in, but I had no issues there. (Keep in mind, I change my septum piercing out regularly so this may have made a difference). My septum was pierced late May and I had to go in for a surgery yesterday in which any metal piercings had to be removed. I certainly did not want the piercing site to close up on me. This stayed in for the entire surgery and I still haven't changed it out as it is fairly comfortable to me and I have limited movement for the next 2 weeks. It is not visible from the outside so if this is something needed for interviews or a job, I would recommend it as well. With all of that in mind, they are very tiny but do come with multiple pieces in case any get lost. Affordable and exceeded my expectations!
