I bought my mKitchen spiralizer on a whim as I was driving across the country and after having raw noodles at a raw shop in Tampa, FL, I was so impressed with the noodles that I bought mine right then and there. It’s funny how really useful kitchen gadgets catch on and for me, anything which even threatens to save time in the kitchen and help me cook healthy meals is a must have. This mkithcen spiralizer was delivered quickly, and it came in a nice box with instructions on how to use it printed on the box. It also included a free peeler, which was a nice little treat. Pros: • It was very fast to get out and set up • The spiralizer works like a pencil sharpener, each side has a different size blade, one larger and one smaller to yield a thicker or thinner noodle. It makes long noodles, but perfect ones come with practice. • Easy to clean. You can either hand wash or put in the dishwasher. It comes with a little brush to help you get at any bits Cons: • The blades are protected from unwary fingers, but you still need to take care when the vegetables get slippery as they inevitably do. A bit of kitchen paper to hold them with works better than the prongs provided. The left over veggie bits, cone shaped, can be tossed in the freezer ready for a winter soup or making stock. Overall, I love it! It is really quick to deploy on the veg, clean and return to the cupboard in minutes with no fuss and that in itself is a time saver. Though there are obviously risks using it, if you’re a careful cook and confident your wet hands won’t slip, I have to say this spiralizer is a brilliant idea and every keen cook should have one in their kitchen. I will recommend it to all my friends for sure.

I think this is ok for the price, but if you plan on making vegetable noodles more than occasionally, I would recommend that you get a hand crank spriral slicer. There seems to be some of the zuchinni wasted, because as you get toward the last third, the cap sits flush against the plastic and won't allow you to place any more pressure and get any more noodles. Clean up wasn't bad. Just know that this is very entry level, which is fine if you just want to see if you like zoodles. On a more positive note, the peeler that comes with it works very well and is a nice bonus.

The slicer just arrived today and I couldn't wait to try it out. Great value for the money! I like it because it looks durable and it is made from BPA-Free ABS Plastic! I love this thing! I started to eat healthy and I am on a low carb diet. The slicer really helps me to avoid noodles by replacing them with zucchini! The product is very nice and it provides a fun way to eat your vegetables. It comes with a cleaning brush, which makes cleaning very easy. I have never tried a vegetable spiral slicer before and at first it seemed tricky to use. However, it comes with a recipe ebook and how to use instructions. Even though it is relatively small, it is sturdy and provides a nice grip. You just need to put vegetables inside and twist it like you sharpen a pencil. The results are amazing and you get perfect clean long narrow strings of zucchini. The Mahal Slicer is such a clever gadget! I think that it is a must have for any kitchen! The whole process is so fun that I had to try the slicer on carrots, cucumbers and even sweet potatoes! However, you have to choose straight and thin sweet potatoes for best results! I cannot wait to try all the recipes from the ebook!

Super impressed with this tool. Honestly, for the price, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I went in with low expectations, and was pleasantly surprised. I've made noodles with carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, and cucumber within minutes. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and makes veggie noodles something that can be done on the fly in minimal time. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I thought the lid would allow me to push and twist that last little piece in, which it doesn't. I'm actually not really sure why the lid is needed. Not a big deal, though. Just chop up the small piece that's left, and throw it in.

This product works awesome for zucchini and carrots. The strands come out like noodles and are very easy to add to pasta or eat on their own. I personally like to add them to pasta so that my body thinks it is eating carbs and is getting a helping of veggies at the same time, but they are definitely good enough strands to be on their own for you that are more dedicated to eating your vegetables. Cucumbers were a bit harder to do, as the seeds and mushy center would clog up the blades, however I made a great salad with cucumber noodles and cabbage with some vinegar, sesame oil and seasonings. I read some other reviews and saw that people had struggled with this and potatoes, but I haven't tried potatoes with this product yet. If I do, I will let you all know! Overall, I am very satisfied and will continue to use this.

The Spiral Slicer Spiralizer. I bought 2. ~ One for a Gift and One for myself. The one I gave, She Loves it. BUT I Do NOT Like it at ALL... I Wish I could Return it. I am a Cancer patient and I can NOT Turn the Veggi to make the Spaghettis. It is to Hard for me. I Wish I had bought the Table Top one, because you just put the Veggi on it and since it has a Handle to turn the Veggi, I think that one would work for me much better.

I was very excited when I bought this slicer, especially with all the positive reviews. When I received it, my first thought was 'Wow! The box is tiny!' And the slicer itself is small and very flimsy. It's not easy to use and results in a lot of waste. It hasn't broken but while using it, I was constantly worried that it will snap at any moment. Also, be very careful while handling it because it's very easy to cut yourself. The pictures of the product make you think you can slice any vegetable. I would not even attempt something harder like a carrot or potato or it might break since even while cutting softer zucchini and cucumber, it just bends under pressure. Definitely doesn't save time. It's not even worth the $11 that I paid for it - really it is a dollar store quality. Do not bother, it really is better to pay more for better quality....if there is such a thing.
