I just ordered another pair with a 2" smaller waist
These 'shorts '- really they are knickers are good value and , after wearing them on four bike rides lasting between one and two hours each - 10 to 20 miles with 400 to 1300 feet of climbing - I've ordered a second pair. My first pair had a 34 waist size. My second pair has a 32 waist. The first pair, without using the belt, will easily slide right over my hips. With belt, they stay on and are quite comfortable, but the clip at the waist band comes undone when the belt is tightened to keep them from sliding off over my hips. My real waist size is 33 and, at a guess, my hips are at least 36. I think the waist size, when the elastic in the waist band is not not stretched, is about 34, but there is at least several inches of stretch in the elastic, so if you want pants than don't fall down around your feet when they aren't belted, I recommend ordering a couple of inches below your real waist size.

Affordable and Durable.
I'm 6ft/185lbs and prefer my MTB shorts a bit looser and longer so I went with a 36" waist and like them alot. I especially like the longer length so they don't rise up when I slip them over my knee pads. I like these so much I bought every color. My only advice is 1) don't be rough with fragile closure system. It will bend very easily and therefore I always use the supplied belt that all of my shorts came with 2) I wouldn't put anything sharp/pointed in the pockets because they would prob rip a hole easily. I am able to fit my Galaxy S20 PLUS phone in the pocket and zipped up. I ride 5 days per week and have used them for several months and zero issues! Can't beat this price!

I love these shorts for mountain biking
I'm 6'2" with a 32" waist and 34" inseam. I own four pairs of these shorts. I mountain bike a lot and haven't been able to find shorts at a reasonable price that fit the way I like. When I'm in the seated pedaling position on a bike most shorts hike up my legs too far. These sit about 2 inches below my knee cap when standing and right at my knee cap when pedaling. They would be like calf length capris on a shorter person. I also don't like mountain biking shorts that are too baggy, which these are not. Again they're cut a little slimmer, like capris. They're pretty thin, but have been surprisingly durable. The fabric is flexible/stretchy enough that they don't feel restrictive for any kind of movement. I've caught in some some light snow/rain twice in the last couple weeks and the water just beads up on these and I can brush it off with my hand. I'm sure they'd get soaked in heavy rain though because they're really breathable, unlike a true waterproof piece of clothing.

Comfy but a bit tight
Very comfy. I usually wear a 34 waistline. It is a little tight in the crotch but I don’t mind showing my print off. Will probably order a size up next time. They are light weight and great for free ballin in on hot days!

The belt release mechanism
Push on the front surface opposite side of the insert side. It depresses a few millimeters and the connector releases. This must have been the IQ test and I passed. 😅😅😅

Wish the pockets were a little deeper.0

Where is the belt
Just Recieved them and there was no belt included. Kinda disappointing considering one was pictured. Ordered two pair, one came with a belt, one did not. Inconsistent with their items.
