Great tonneau cover!
Recently, I lost the rear bar of my old snap-style tonneau cover and, unfortunately, it was obsolete with no replacement parts available. Dang. While waiting for them to check on that part at the truck accessory store, I saw this cover and liked what I saw. The only thing that I didn't like was the price ($370, installed). Since I couldn't repair the original cover, I started looking for an affordable replacement cover. Luckily, I found it here for under $240 with free shipping. The reviews all stated that it should take less than 30 minutes to install. I can turn a wrench, so I ordered it. To my surprise, it arrived in just a couple of days and it couldn't have been easier to install. I ended up putting about an hour into the complete project, which included removing the old rails and re-positioning the new rails after I realized that I had originally installed them too far forward. I guess that I should have read the directions a little better! While I was a little nervous about the Velcro® edges, I found that the Velcro® is only used on the side edges. The front and rear edges are both permanently mounted to the rails. The rear bar drops into a pair of spring loaded brackets that provide the perfect pre-tension to pull the tonneau cover tight and lock it down. In fact, it is, literally, as tight as a drum. Tapping the tightened cover will provide an audible thump! While the spring tension can be adjusted, I found that the factory setting is perfect. Maybe it will need to be adjusted in the summer? The rear bar releases with two levers. CAUTION! Hold the bar/cover with one hand while releasing the second latch. This tension release will cause it to pop out of the bracket. I could see someone (not me) putting their face close to it and getting whacked. After release, the cover and supports (attached to cover with Velcro®) roll up easily towards the cab of the truck and can be secured with a pair of Velcro® straps. One person operation. Easy!I doubt that it will be 100% water-tight, but neither was the original cover. This should keep out most of the water and allow better use of the bed. I always keep important items in the cab anyway. The only drawback is that it could probably be about 1" longer and wider for my 2002 Ford Ranger XLT.Using this cover will be so much easier than the old snap on style. Since the rear bar and supports are all attached to the cover, there are no parts to lose. It will also be better in cold weather. No longer will I have to bring the cover inside and set it on top of the dryer to warm it up before rushing outside to hurry up and get it snapped before it shrinks in the cold!If you're looking for an affordable soft tonneau cover, this is it!

Installation requires some attention to detail. Instructions could be better.
Installed on a 2020 Ranger XL with a factory bed liner. Needed to install the rails a few times to get the hang of it and get them lined up properly. Each rail has 3 metal clamps to attach the rail to the side of the bed. Installing the first clamp (loosely) in the middle of the rail worked best for me as I was doing the installation solo and this helped stabilize the rail to install the other clamps. Verify a level install and then tighten the clamps to lock that in.The instructions are not terrible, but they became easier to understand after I had put and taken out the rails a few times. There is a video available that is also helpful in that it gives you a high level understanding of what you are doing. The video is generic and does not show precise instructions for the Ford Ranger specifically.Ships with a rubber seal that installs on the bed behind the cab to seal the cover. Instructions say that this seal may not be correct for aftermarket liners. Was sized correctly for my install on an OEM bed liner. The seal has an adhesive that sticks to the top of the bed behind the the cab. It did not cover the the whole top of the bed and it does not cover the space between the cab and the box. Former does not matter because it is hidden under the cover after installation. Latter is needed for drainage. Time will tell if this is watertight. It looks promising but there are places in all 4 corners that while tightly sealed do have seams between the seals. There is a rubber strip that the gate will push up against when closed. This strip is not quite deep enough to ensure that it will get pushed back uniformly when the gate is closed (as one of the pictures shows). Pulling down on the cover first before closing prevents this from occurring.I can see that not being picky about getting the rails in properly could lead to poor results and potential leaks. So I would recommend taking time to get the rails in snugly and level so that the installation of the cover goes smoothly.UPDATE : After closing a few times the rubber strip for the tailgate is now going into position properly. Just took a few times and it now works perfectly!

Perfect fit for Ford Ranger/Mazda B-series
Fits perfectly on my 1994 Mazda pickup with the 6' bed. Rolls up easily, is leak free and stays latched shut at speed. Kit comes with foam seals and clamps needed to mount it and worked with my under rail style drop-in bed liner.
