Comfortable and great quality
I had an earlier version of a Tecknet mouse that stopped working, and I reached out to Tecknet about it, and they sent me this one as a replacement for free. This one feels much more sturdy and comfortable. It seems that they are improving their products, and I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service I received.

Excellent Wireless Mouse – Comfortable and Reliable!
This wireless mouse from TECKNET has exceeded my expectations! It’s very comfortable to hold, even after hours of use, thanks to its ergonomic design and textured grip. The buttons are responsive and the scroll wheel is smooth and quiet. The connection is stable with no lag, and the battery life is impressive – I’ve been using it for weeks without needing to recharge or replace batteries. It also looks great with a clean and modern design. A perfect choice for work, study, or casual use!

Battery missing, can’t get the cover off
I’m giving this 3 stars for now but I may change that if I ever get to use it. There was no battery in the box and I can’t get the darn battery cover off to see if it’s already been installed. There’s an arrow pointing down on what looks like a removable cover on the underside, I tried and my 250lb brother-in-law tried and it wouldn’t budge.Today I’m going to try to activate it with my laptop hoping the battery is installed. If not maybe I’ll fling it at the wall and that will jar the cover loose.Follow-up - I just changed this review to 4 stars which is pretty generous I think considering it does work but I had to pry the battery cover off with a knife, then discovered why no battery was included - the mouse I was sent uses 2AA batteries! Quite unlike the one shown in the photo. But it works, and I’m ok with it.

Great mouse! (Gaming demo and Teardown Photos)
I've used it for about six months now, and my experience has been great thus far. If you want a cheap wireless mouse (or really any wireless mouse) this one is a very good option. I will go into some very specific things later in this review, and it could get very length and technical, so be aware. Check this video for a demonstration: [...]THE MAIN BUTTONS: The left, right, and middle click buttons are all the normal mouse-style buttons: Small rectangular buttons with a good click, but not too much force required to actuate them. They are like normal mouse buttons that pretty much all mice use nowadays. The main thing is that the middle mouse button uses this style of button, which is very nice because most mice use a tactile switch instead, which require more force, and doesn't always activate when the button clicks. BTW, this is a tactile switch: [...]The main click buttons are okay. Really the only issue is that the force required to hold them down is a lot lower than what is needed to actuate them. This makes fast clicking a little bit more difficult, as you may end up just clicking the button once, and then all your other movements will just be holding the button down rather than letting it go and re-actuating it. I can't think of a concise way to say this, but it's not too big of an issue, and I've gotten more used to it.The back-forward buttons are of the small tactile switches that I mentioned previously, but they feel really nice, so this isn't an issue.TRACKING: Tracking is very nice on this mouse; I haven't experienced any issues so far, and I've been playing quite a few games that require precise mouse movements. I wasn't as good as I normally am, but this is just because the mouse is new, and I need to get used to it. Having the mouse sensor on the left-hand side makes my mouse movement style work a lot better than mice where it's on the right. It places the sensor closer to your thumb, so 'twisting' the mouse clockwise raises the mouse cursor, which makes movement more precise for me. It's in just the right place.MOUSE WHEEL: The ratchet on the mouse wheel is pretty well defined, but it's not the best mouse wheel I've EVER used; It's certainly better than the cheap wireless Logitech mice I've used before, and it feels very high quality. I haven't yet had an instance where the ratchet clicks to a new position, but the computer thinks it's between two positions. This is when you scroll, and the scroll jumps around a little bit, because the computer thinks that you're switching between two different positions, even though your mouse's wheel is physically fine. Anyway, this doesn't happen with this mouse, so YAY! The wheel is a bit lower than most mice, however. The top of the wheel is closer in height to the rest of the mouse than most mice are. But again, I got used to this very quickly, and it's a very usable scroll wheel.INTERNALS / TEARDOWN: Of course, I had to take this thing apart as soon as I got it in order to see what's inside. The screws are located under the two rear pads, and I found that the best way to get at them is to use an exacto knife or something to cut a slit where the screw is, and then put a screw driver through it to unscrew the screws. Then the mouse can come apart. Once inside, I noticed that the scroll wheel position sensor is a potentiameter (maybe, it could be a rotary encoder) instead of an infrared sensor like what my other cheap mice use. I don't know if this is better, but it seems to be. Other than that, the circuit board looks a bit cheap, but it does the job, and all the components are standard sizes, so you could replace the buttons later if you want to (which I might do).MY USAGE OF EXTRA BUTTONS: I've downloaded this little piece of software to remap some of the buttons on this mouse: https://www.highrez.co.uk/downloads/xmousebuttoncontrol.htmIt's nice because I never really use the forward-backward navigation buttons, so I use them a function keys that activate certain control profiles. For instance, if I hold dow the forward button, the rest of my mouse controls are mapped to do things that include CTRL+C, CTRL+V, ALT+TAB, wheel-tilt left, and wheel-tilt right. If I hold down the back button, I can CTRL+TAB, launch Firefox, launch the calculator, CTRL+scroll to zoom in, and CTRL+scroll to zoom out. All without ever touching my keyboard! It's nice having a few extra buttons at my disposal.OVERALL VERDICT: A great mouse for the price and a mouse that I would definitely recommend.

It Works Fine, But Nothing Special
Review:I’ve been using this wireless mouse for a couple of weeks, and while it gets the job done, it’s just…okay. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option that functions reliably, this could work—but don’t expect anything high-end or particularly ergonomic.Performance:The mouse connects quickly via USB receiver and has a stable connection with no noticeable lag. The cursor tracks well on most surfaces, and it’s quiet when clicking, which I appreciate during work calls. But it lacks that premium “feel”—clicks are a little soft, and the scroll wheel feels loose or imprecise at times.Comfort:It’s lightweight, which makes it easy to travel with, but also makes it feel a bit cheap. I have average-size hands, and it’s fine for short-term use, but after long sessions, I notice some hand fatigue due to the low profile and lack of contouring.Battery Life:Battery seems to be holding up well so far. I’ve used it daily for two weeks without needing to replace it, which is a plus.Pros:✔ Affordable✔ Reliable wireless connection✔ Silent clicks✔ Plug-and-play setupCons:✘ Scroll wheel could be smoother✘ Build feels a bit flimsy✘ Not ideal for long-term comfortFinal Thoughts:This is a decent backup or travel mouse, and it’s fine for light everyday use. But if you’re at a computer for long hours or care about ergonomics and tactile quality, you might want to spend a little more. It’s not a bad product—it’s just not one I’m crazy about.
