(I am using this on a Ryobi 40v battery trimmer.) This thing is an amazing chopping/cutting "blade". Some of the downsides. It is extremely heavy (for a trimmer blade) and will not work well, if at all, on an 18 volt battery unit. On the 40 volt trimmer, it is more weapon than garden trimmer. So... suffice it to say that it needs, at the very least, a high volt battery trimmer, an AC current trimmer, or a gas powered trimmer in order for this "blade" to work properly. When used on powerful enough trimmers, it is dangerous. It does an amazing job, but it will chap through wood and concrete. BE CAREFUL!!! Another downside is that it came with nothing to adapt it to my trimmer. I know that you can get separate, assorted kits to properly attach the "blade", but unless you are very lucky, it will not work straight out of the box. I did not buy an attachment kit, but I did modify the "blade" and my trimmer, as well as using a couple of parts I had at home. So... straight out of the box, without any additional kits, you have to be clever or lucky. It may sound like I am condemning it, but yet I did give it four stars. It lost one because it was not easy to install, but as a trimmer blade, I guaranty that you will not find a "blade" even close to this in the area of aggressive cutting. Since that is why you buy something like this, I had to give it four stars. I do have it permanently mounted on my 40 volt Ryobi trimmer. I have another trimmer for normal trimming.

I love the idea of this attachment and I'm sure if it had fit my brand I would have given it a great review. The seller wasted my time by not definitely listing the brands it will and won't fit. I should take a little responsibility though after looking at the set up on my Husquavarna I would have been able to see there is no way it would have worked .

My son lost the 10X1.25 Left Hand thread retaining nut, so i ordered this one that screws directly on the Ryobi Gas trimmer shaft, no retaining nut required. Be sure to tighten counter clockwise.

It’s great for weeds and small trees up to about 3/4 inch. Cuts thru them like butter. Just be careful you don’t hit anything you don’t want wacked especially your legs and feet

Does not fit Stihl BRUSH CUTTERS. says it won’t fit grass cutters, that makes sense. But my large brush cutter?? Seller needs to clarify that, this is MOST displeasing.

Had to adapt it to work on my Ryobi 40v and is light enough to work well. Keep your feet out of the way and get to work.

I am happy with it. It's does what I need it to do.

I was unable to use this tool because it was too small to fit on to the shaft of my brush cutter. I was disappointed as it looks like a great tool.
