Bought for my U14 rugby player and they fit great, look good and wash and perform well. Color stays pretty well with multiple washes and has stayed in great shape through multiple rough games. Has a draw string which is convenient if you're between sizes. I would buy these again in a heartbeat.

These rock. I bought my first pair about a month ago and have been wearing them every day since.They are comfortable, particularly for the summer. They are short enough to not cover too much of your leg, the sturdiness of the cloth helps them stay off your legs to give more breathing room, they cotton itself is a breathable cool material, and there's plenty of space in the crotch area for good airflow. These are the ideal summer shorts. They also look good. I have black and white. The white pair is thick enough so that the color of my boxers does not come through much, unlike most white shorts.They are STURDY. The elastic holds up very well so I can put heavy things in my pockets and they won't slide down even if the string is not tied. The pockets are a good size as well.I'm 6'6" with 36" waist and went with XL for my first pair, but then XXL for my second pair, which was a better choice. XL works fine too but is just slightly tighter. The XXL fit me perfectly and also were slightly longer so they do a better job of covering my boxers.The only con I can think of is that the orientation of the pockets causes my phone and/or wallet to slide out of the pocket almost every time I sit down.

7s or 15s, these shorts hold up when all the opponent can do to tackle you is grab your shorts because she was out of position and you’re too strong. You can drag a fool across the touch line wearing these and not even hear a thread pop. Bought more than one just to help stay ahead of laundry day. 5*****

Fit well. I ordered the 2X...I think they are a bit full, but way better then undersized. I would order what generally fits you- I upsized because usually things are cut to small.

Likes:- Fit well. I am a 31” waist and the M size is perfect. It also has draw cords to make it fitted.- Made of cotton like fabric (doesn’t feel synthetic). Nice feel.- Has pockets! This is a bonus for storing a mouth guard before a game.- I also bought the Canterbury Men’s Advantage Shorts but this is definitely better (the Advantage shorts run small, it feels very synthetic and has no pockets).Dislikes:- None

I'm a waist size 42 and XXL works for me.

This is the third time I have purchased these. I am buying a couple new pair to replace a couple pair I bought in June 2013. (I had to look that up.) I wore them probably one day every week or two. The elastic finally gave out in one of the old pairs but only after four years of really frequent use. They have changed a little over the years in that the first two pairs had white trim around the pockets, but the second two pair and these two pair are completely black. (That's really the only way I could ever tell the newer ones from the older ones.) After dozens of washes (nearly every week in four years), they had faded, but haven't frayed. (See picture with new shorts on the left and 2013 version on the right.) These have outlasted any other shorts I have ever had.I just use them as all-around gym shorts as in I don't play rugby. (Sorry guys.) I absolutely despise shorts that come down to my knees as I think they stick to my legs. These do not have that issue. Most gym shorts also don't come with pockets, but these do. They are deep enough for a good sized cell phone, which lets me listen to music and podcasts while wearing them. They do not have rear pockets (nor would I expect them to).Be warned though. The sizes run small, and I buy one size larger than I normally wear.

These shorts are pretty tough. The fabric is super-thick and extremely comfortable to wear. I use them whilst doing building work around the house, pottering about the garden, anything grubby and arduous - and they are as good as new. Highly recommended.

They were a bit big for a 40-42 so I re orderd a 3XL which is perfect.Propper shorts for men, none of this fancy pants nonsense.Unless youre into that kind of thing of course , but I am not.

Proper Rugby shorts that I use as everyday shorts in this hot summer

First order recieved was a black pair not the white pair ordered.Couple of emails later they were returned, and the correct colour item recieved 8 days later.
