Use these on clients trailers as well as my own.
I have ordered these many times when making RV Repairs while working in my RV repair biz. They are heavy duty, easy to install and do the job right. I even use these on my own personal trailer. I found that these are the best for the money. Only complaint would be I wish I could get them more expedited.

Great addition to travel trailer.
I originally bought a set to replace the flimsy scissor jacks that came on the back of my camper. I was so impressed by their sturdy build and quality that I ordered a second pair for the front. When I tell you the difference is night and day I'm not exaggerating. It went from a boat rocking on the waves to rock solid underfoot. I would absolutely recommend these.

Excellent product, damaged box
I was replacing the rear stabilizer jacks on my old camper and decided to check Amazon for the BAL brand I wanted. Of course they had them. They came a day early via UPS, and although the actual product inside the box was intact with all the parts present, the box came nearly destroyed. It had been patched up with clear packing tape all over it, so I was concerned that this was a return item just resent to me (it probably was), and those are usually damaged or incomplete which is why I took this photo. All is well, and the jacks are installed and they work perfectly, as I would expect. Just got a bit concerned upon delivery (and frankly UPS in recent years seems to regularly deliver damaged containers, but this one was more likely a return since the tape was mostly covering the damage).

Excellent USA Made Scissor Jack
Ok, folks seem to ask how thick the steel is on these Jacks compared to the flimsy ones that come on most campers. Here's the skinny on it:I used a micrometer at various points around the metal on These BAL Jacks. I came up with it being close to .125 thick or 1/8 inch steel, ( 11 gauge) it was actually .121-.122, the reason is because Carbon Steel gauge thicknesses dont come in exact 1/8 (.125) thickness,it is slightly less at .1196, which is about right on my micrometer reading because I was checking over the painted surface. The junky jacks I replace these with came in at 18 guage ( .0478) or about .050 thickness over the paint. So the BAL jacks are well over twice as thick! They are heavy, each one is substantially weighs a lot more than the junky originals I replaced them with.It has a Double acme thread , which allows it to move up and down a lot faster than the originals. Likewise, the BAL jack threaded rod diameter is at least twice the diameter than the orginal!Great job BAL!!! I now have all four on my Puma 25 XLE RBSC and its solid as a rock!

American made support when you need it
This is our second set---unfortunately our previous set were bent beyond repair when I went off road and backed into 3 foot rocks--and we would not buy another brand. On july 4, 2023, we were set up at Nomads View at the Badlands when huge thunder storm rolled in at 11:03 P.M.We grabbed the NOAA radio and the broadcast said there were 80 M PH winds just a 1/2 mile from our location.Though we could feel the wind slamming into our 30 foot travel trailer, and hear the horizontal rain pounding the windows, the trailer barely moved an inch as the 7500 pound stabilizers and BAL LOCK ARMS were like anchors. We appreciate the quality of great products, especially when they are American made.

Solid, sturdy, well made Stabilizers!
Got 4 of these to replace the stabilizers that came with my travel trailer after a low crossing twisted all of originals 90 degrees. Best thing that ever happened! Originals were cheap sheet metal rated at 2500 lbs each. These are thick steel! I could not believe how much more stable the camper was with these stabilizers! Installing was a little tricky. The new stabilizers had the same hole pattern on the brackets as the originals, but because of the thickness of the steel in the jack mechanism, the brackets are about 3/16" farther apart. I didn't want to drill new holes. I was able to use a drill bit to widen the holes on the stabilizer brackets until the original self tapping bolts were aligned with the original holes. I replaced all 4 in less than an hour. Heading back to that same location with the low crossing again in a few weeks. I'll be more careful this time, but honestly, as sturdy as these are, I don't think they will twist sideways if I end up bottoming out again in the soft dirt.

Hardware missing, jacks look good
I ordered 2 pair of BAL 24002D jacks. They came in 2 shipments on different days. The first shipment came 3days ago in the factory box but had no installation screws or lockwashers and no instructions.Today I received the second pair in a plain brown box, with 2 screws (there should be 8) and one lockwasher (should be 8). One of the 2 plastic tubes on the wrench handle was broken. It did have an instruction sheet. The jacks look good and I need them so I’ll buy my own screws and washers.Could have been worse but should have been a complete, undamaged order.

Good value and Function
Bought a pair of these when I bottomed out our travel trailer and bent one of the original equipment jacks. These are better to me than the original equipment for two reasons. First, they have a coarser thread and take fewer turns to extend and retract. They also have better made bearings than the jacks we had as OEM. They were easy to install and have worked better than the OEM ones.NOTE WELL - none of these jacks are made to jack up the travel trailer for tire changes. They are designed to STABILIZE the trailer when parked and eliminate the bouncing you get when moving around in the trailer. They can hold some of the weight, but cannot LIFT all of the weight. Trying to use them for tire change will destroy the bearings and may lead to injury to those trying to change the tire. You need a Traileraid ramp (Camco Trailer Aid 21 Tandem Tire Changing Ramp (Yellow) or equivalent to get the flat tire off the ground. This requires a twin axle wheel set up so you can roll the undamaged wheel onto the ramp to elevate the flat tire wheel (after loosening the lug nuts some). You might be able to use your tow vehicle jack if you have only a single axle, BUT I would NOT recommend that because that could be very high risk depending on the stability of the jack under the trailer.
