Thanks for the update!
Just a little re-visit to the first Baba Yaga in the series, Barbara Yager. I'm glad we got a glimpse into her life with Liam and Babs! It was a quick read at 66 pages but a nice update, none the less. I hope that after book three with Bella (and then the other books focusing on the riders) we get a few more 'updates' on all of the Baba's and the riders~ Deborah Blake's style of writing is fun and she brings her characters to life with seeming ease, so this novella was like having a nice 'catch up' with a friend that you don't get to see often enough. So I hope that the 'updates' keep coming for years to come!

A lovely way to start a Sunday morning
A delightful return visit with Baba Yaga Barbara, Sheriff Liam, and enigmatic little Babs, Baba Yaga in training, not to mention Chudo-Yugo, their resident Dragon-in-disguise as a giant white pitbull. This colorful little troupe pays a visit to the otherworld in order to seek the Queen's blessing on Barbara and Liam's marriage. The Queen gives them three impossible tasks to complete and two weeks in which to do so. Along the way, they visit with each of the other two American Baba Yagas and Liam's old college roommate to seek their assistance. A very short but lovely way to start a Sunday morning.

Check out the series if you like paranormal romance..
A cute followup short to a good novel. If you have not yet read the first book in the series, you will definitely want to read it first and really you should read book 2 as well to avoid some minor spoilers for book two. Book one is called Wickedly Dangerous and it is the love story of Barbara and Liam. This book is the what comes next part so it doesn't work as a stand alone. Check out the series if you like paranormal romance.

Fast-paced "must read" for Baba Yaga fans
This is a novella that serves as a follow up to the first two Baba books, so definitely read those first! I enjoyed seeing Barbara's more domestic side here and it gives fans of the series a snapshot of what her life is like after the events of Wickedly Dangerous. Lots of classic fairy tale themes and a twist on the quest. I just love how the author creates these fantastical images in your mind - you can really imagine yourself along for the ride. More please!

I am in love with the Babas again
As with the first 2 books in this series, I have again fallen in love with the Baba Yagas. The author has a way of telling a story that reels you in and keeps you reading to see if this Baba will successfully finish the task at hand. I am SO looking forward to the next book in this series!

Deborah's stories are always delightful reading, whether they are novellas or full length. She hasn't disappointed me yet, I've loved them all.

A good read.
I have enjoyed reading this series of stories. The twists are unexpected and interesting, the stories are reasonably paced with a bit of variety. There is limited magic, aside from the whole premise of the story, which keeps the story consistent and believable. I look forward to reading more from Deborah Blake.

Baby Yaga's rule
I love the BabaYaga series and cannot wait for the next installment to arrive. I have followed numerous paranormal series and read many more first books of series. So, to make it to my always wait breathlessly for the next book, it has to be good and step up the game with each book. Deborah Blake has lived up to my expectations.
