Darlac Garden Lightweight Hedge Shear Pruner Trimmer Cutter 10" DP400 Long Handle

Really impressed by these, as you'd hope for the price! The blades are extremely sharp and will snip a single stem or prune topiary. The handles are not angled upwards so it's simpler to know you a pruning topiary with a flat top and sides.Nice and lightweight and comfortable to use.

These shears are lightweight, sharp and easy to use. They are longer than most and because they are so lightweight you can easily use them to cut high up ona hedge or shrub. I love them and highly recommend them.

The shears were indeed lightweight, and felt good to use, with the shock absorbers working well. However, the blades chipped significantly in several places after a single light trim on a privet hedge! These chips can now be felt catching on each other when opening and closing the blades, suggesting they would become worse with further use. I am returning the product.

Very light and also sharp only used once so far but hope they last a long time.

I found the shears very easy to use, very sharp and ideal for shaping small shrubs and bushes.

I bought these shears to use to cut my box hedges. Previously I used electric hedge trimmers which do not give a very good result on box hedging. I have also used an older pair of shears but these were heavy and not good to use for a long period of time.I have used the Darlac DP401 shears to cut my box hedges and have found them to be very good. They are light, sharp and can be used for long periods of time in comfort. I would recommend these shears.

Although this product was delivered very quickly and the shears are light, I feel I was mislead with regard to the blades. Yes, they are 10" long but the cutting length is only 9" and I believe they are described in such a way that allows one to expect the cutting length to be 10".

UPDATE *** having contacted Darlac directly, they have immediately sent new blades.As others have said these chipped straight away. Customer services was appalling I contacted straight away but then was away when they replied so I couldn’t return at that time. When I got back and contacted again I was told it was too late for free returns and no information on how to return. They obviously know these are poor quality not up to usual Darlac standards. As a gardener by trade I will be advising against using this company.

Ho visto che le usa James Todman, noto topiatore inglese, e quindi ho voluto provarle. Niente da dire: affilate, leggere e ben bilanciate, da utilizzare per rifinire di fino. Prezzo umano. Consiglio vivamente.
