Iten NOT as describe No place for a battery backup
In the description it says it has a "battery back up but not provided;" That is NOT true. It does NOT have a place or the wires for a battery backup so this is NOT true. I would have bought another brand if I had know this. It is a shame that companies have to lie & deceive people in order to sell their products.

This product works wellI tested it out with my gas stoveIt alerted rather quickly and was loudThe adhesive is very strong so be sure you have ideal placement before placing itThe only draw back is it doesn't give you a numerical reading.

Installed in closet where the furnace is.Don’t risk a leak! Install this near your natural gas appliances.

Works fine
I put in the kitchen close to the stove , I tested and it works fine, the reason why I gave it 4 stars because it says it has a backup battery and IT DOESN’T. It alarms if the reading at 3, or 4 and you are fine if the reading between 0 and 1.

Wonderful Product & Affordable!
Bought one and tried, then bought two more for family. Very consistent and loud (too). I bought other two brands prior to this one. Either the battery slot is awful (design issue) or it's not loud enough. Highly recommend.

Doesn't respond as quickly as I'd like
Tests show it does work, but not quite as quickly as I'd like. Monitoring a gas leak should be more sensitive.

All the bells and whistles
I like the size, the lights , sirens and voice warnings. If in the event of a gas leak this would definitely alert you. I haven’t had a gas leak and hopefully will not have to see it in action.

Works but causes FM radio interference.
Works well in as far as detecting a gas leak but could be a bit more sensitive.Unfortunately the device interferes with FM radio (causes overall buzz). Has compliance marks on the back cover but would be, in reality, unlikely to pass RF/EMC Test requirements.
