- DURABLE, QUALITY MATERIALS - The bags' exterior is made with an Heavy 24-oz treated duck canvas material which offers traditional appeal and durability. All stress and wear points are reinforced with heavy webbing to ease your mind while packing in the back-country.
- CINCH INCLUDED - We have included a 22" felt padded cinch with every set of pannier bags, ideal for securing pack panniers underneath the belly.
- DIMENSIONS - There is plenty of room for your gear in these panniers! Each pannier is 25"W x 18"H x 11"D. The lid is secured with 1" lid straps and incorporates 1.5" triple-ply nylon hanging straps. The pair weighs 9 Pounds. A very general rule of thumb is a pack animal can carry 20% of its body weight with a "dead" load. Some pack animals can comfortably carry more than others and each horse should be looked at individually.
- FOR HORSE AND MULE PACKING - These panniers are designed to be used with a pack saddle, ideal for packing horses and mules into the back-country. Don't forget a "Packer's Scale" (Sold Separately On desertcart as Part Number WPA212) to ensure that your loads are distributed evenly.
