I love it. It matches my kitchen perfectly and is not too big nor too small. Easy to read so v functional while adding a nice touch to my kitchen!

I really liked this clock. I had wondered whether it would be suitable for my living room or would seem too utilitarian. In reality it looks elegant and stylish, well made and sturdy.My only concern, which is minor, is that the hands would be better if they were black to make more of an impact an ease of telling the time.

The clock is good quality and attractive and seems reliable. However the hands re gold in colour and are difficult to see against the white face especially in high sunlight or lower light levels which is disappointing.

Thid clock is a lovely piece that would look smart in any kitchen. It is easy to read and keeps great time. Just what we needed after our old clock kept sticking and was past repair.

The clock appears to be lovely and it is silent but you can’t tell the time on it unless it’s broad daylight, eg 8pm when the sun starts to go down or 6am when the sun is coming through your blinds up can’t tell the time because the hands are light gold against white and you can’t see them. I have perfect eye sight

We bought this clock 18 months ago and it is lovely and has kept the time well.As I was changing the battery for the first time today, I cleaned the clock with a damp cloth and a little soapy water. The blue paint just rubs off. I contacted Newgate customer service by email and they responded promptly and said the cleaning instructions say that it should only be cleaned with a soft dry cloth.I checked the cleaning instructions on their website and that is what they say. I have tried cleaning again as per the instructions and the paint still comes off just by rubbing it with a dry cloth!The reality is a kitchen clock will get greasy and the grease bonds to the paint so the paint will come off if you want to clean it. The paint has not been primed properly.Unless they're improved the paint I can't recommend this clock for the kitchen unless you can accept it inevitably getting greasy.
