I got the long shoe horn because of knee-high boots that I have. This was very helpful to guide my heel into place without the regular fight. The horn is plastic and put together by twisting the pieces (much like an IKEA product). You get the same feeling, it gets the job done but will question the durability. However, I haven't been disappointed with the product yet.

I’ve purchased 3 of these for my home, I love the long handle. Took one star off though because I’ve never received the sock aid as shown in the product description. That feels deceptive to me. Otherwise I like the horn.

I use it to remove compression socks which are tough to remove. It is very dirty and has stiffness compared to any other plastic I've seen. I had one before but I sat on it and it broke. Otherwise I think this will last forever

Strong but flexible, very good length. Handle works well. Disassembled for travel. I purchased a second one after my first one arrived. Buy one you will like it very much!!! Just bought my third as a gift.

In all honesty if I had written the review right after receiving this I would have given it 5 stars. Due to a knee injury my husband is unable to put on his own shoe and was getting tired of depe ding on me. He loved this. He could push his sock off and it was long enough handle that at 6' he could slide his heal in most of his shoes with this. Today after starting to make the heel twist it snapped in half.I have not contacted them yet to see how the customer service is but this is a product review and wearing shoes Mon-Fri and then slip on or slides over the weekend should not have constituted over use, heavy use or reason for a break yet so this is the reason for 2 stars. 5 stars when it wasn't broken though
