I wrapped my o2 sensor wires with this stuff because I have to run the wire under my header pipe and it's melting the OEM heat wrap, ran it for a day and the spot that occasionally touches the pipe turned white but is not burning through, I should have ordered a smaller size but this worked perfectly with some heat proof tape.

Seems tightly woven. slightly larger than 1" slips over a 1" diesel heater exhaust pipe with no problems. All I am reporting on is the weave and the size. I don't know if will be colorfast, but don't really care about that.

I made a wood top to insert a Weber BBQ, and the last time, I let the hot briskets after the cooking for a while, and the wood caught fire. After replacing the burnt wood, I protected the rim and the underneath with this product and another one. I cut the shield open, for the rim custom made installation, and it works great! Now, the woods close to the rim do not get hot as before. It feels much cooler, so I confident that the wood won’t get burn again! Great product!

Great quality, worth the price. REMINDER to wear gloves when handling this, the fiber glass does shed as cut/installed.

My spark plug wires run close to exhaust pipes. This provides great thermal protection and is super easy to install

My fuel line was vapor locking on my custom harley they I had to run the fuel line. Put this over the line fixed it!

I used this to cover the rubber Oxygen and Propane lines for my wife's glass torches in her new studio. This keeps the occasional molten glass shard from melting the lines and causing a possible leak. I just pulled the lines through the tube and used stainless steel Zip ties to cinch the ends. Keeps the lines flexible and safe from accidents.

I would recommend this product.

This was falling apart as I was trying to run my wires through it. Just gently running my finger nail across the top of it was enough to make it start to come apart. It won't last in the harsh conditions in my engine compartment I purchased it for. Recommend avoiding

This is not fiberglass, it is nylon or something similar. Definitely would not recommend for high heat applications. Ad is misleading and incorrect
