Can the water output be turned down? Or is it required to output 3600gph at all times?

Can the Danner model 02755 Be installed above ground as well as submersible?

There are three kinds of pump installation, submersed in water, in-line, which means the pump is not in water but that it is outside the container but under water level and "flooded" (meaning water comes to the pump in by gravity and then is pumped to its destination) and third, external, which can be above water level with a check valve and priming pot and the pump will pull water to itself. This pump may be installed the first two ways, but not the third. So it may be in or out of the water but it must have water coming to it by natural gravity and then can pump water to where you want. What are the measurements with the filter installed?

Pondmaster Model 36 dimensions: 7.25” L x 6.25” W x 4” H. Note: The box in which the pump & pre-filter is packaged is 10 5/8” L x 7 1/4” W x 4 3/4” H which may also help in determining if a pump of this size meets your space requirements.
