Specifically designed with the needs of mountain biking and BMX in mind. These pads also work great for snowboarding and as a low-profile under pant skate pad.

Very comfortable easy to get used to
These are definitely nice to wear under your pants, true to size chart. They do help absorb the impact but I have about 5 sessions with them now and if you’re looking for something that’s going to provide full protection these aren’t for you, if you land hard enough you’re still going to feel most of the impact. These are definitely for more moderate falls but they are really comfortable and don’t slow you down at all. If you’re park skating like me I wouldn’t suggest hitting any big ramps with just these, but normal street skating would be a great use for these if you don’t wanna wear big bulky pads. I thought these would take a couple sessions to break in but 20 mins into my first session they were 100% comfortable and not an issue

These make for great softball knee pads too!
I'm 5'10", 160 lbs, and the small fits me perfectly. I was actually trying to find knee pads for softball so that I don't skin up my knees while sliding into bases or diving for fly balls. All the pads I tried that were made specifically for softball either did not provide the protection I needed, or they simply didn't stay in place when sliding. So I decided to look into other options. I tried quite a few: Fox Head Launch Enduro Knee Pad, Brute Torq Wrestling Knee Pad, Corflex Knee Sleeve w/Anterior Pad, Troy Lee Designs KG 5450 Knee/Shin Guard, Penny G-Forrm Knee Pad, FOX Launch Pro Knee Pad, and these, the Triple Eight ExoSkin Knee Pad. The Triple Eights are BY FAR my favorite one's to wear. They never fall down, they aren't too hot, and they're very comfortable. I know these are made for biking or skating, but they are perfect for softball.

Long term review. Not built to last.
I use them for mtb. Started out great, but eventually disappointed. Bulky and not holding up well. The Velcro ripped off the seams within 6 weeks. I reattached with zip ties. They are bulky and now stretched out so bunching up around my knees. Since they're streched out, I have to pull the straps tight, so the elasticity is gone. After a few months they're already at end of life. Highly recommend knee pads, but will replace with something else.

Kind of tight
The fit around the knees is a bit tight. I have largest size pads and my body is avg build, so I think this means the sizes are Asian sizes and not American sizes. In other words the sizes run small.

SAVED MY KNEES (SNOWBOARDING)
Wore these snowboarding and wow, they literally saved my knees! The fit is as expected, I liked it tight but not restricting bloodflow. The pads are gel and at first I was worried they wouldn't protect, but they do. They work perfectly on even hard packed snow and light ice. I haven't really tested it on anything harder like metal (yet).Other than a helmet, I definitely won't go snowboarding w/o these things again.

Great knee pads for high impact and abrasion resistance
I do a lot of climbing and canyoneering and sometimes bang or scrape my knees. I wanted knee pads that offered impact protection while not impeding my range of motion, but most options either seemed to be a plastic cap or thin foam, neither of which was what I wanted. I've had the opportunity to use these a few times and I've been really happy with their performance.Pros:- Abrasion Resistance: I've been dragging these across different types of rock and the knee material hasn't ripped, torn, or gouged yet.- Flexible: My range of motion isn't affected at all and they're comfortable to wear- Packable: Since they're flexible, they lay flat and can slide into side pockets on my pack really easily- Breathable: No issues with too much sweating- Impact: The high-density foam has taken a few decent impacts so far and my knees have been just fineCons:- Stitching: They haven't started unraveling or coming apart, but I've had some threads pull out and some of the stitching looks like it might not last more than a season or two.I'm nitpicking with the stitching since it hasn't actually come apart yet, but it's something I'm keeping my eye on. Overall, I'm really happy with these pads since they satisfied my needs really well. I've already recommended them to others!

Did not hold up after one ride
I used these knee pads once. One a short 10 mile ride. They were incredibly uncomfortable because the straps to secure them kept rolling up. The knee pads wouldn't stay in place and kept falling as a result. I went to pull them up and the side ripped out of them. This was about halfway into my ride. The other half, I was praying I wouldn't crash because if I did, my knee would have been destroyed because the side was blown out. Please make this more durable.

easy on/off, stays in place all day
friend who does roller derby told me about these, I got them for snowboarding. They are the bomb! easy on/off, stays in place all day, have saved my knee's from some really hard hits on icy days plus they keep my aging knee's warm so they don't get sore...and added bonus.

good product, bad fit
great product, really nice quality, but the medium size was very small. I tried to get a replacement in a different size, but this wasn't possible on the system and I had to accept a refund instead. When I tried to order the correct size again, the price had gone up quite a lot and so I didn't proceed.

Good under trousers
Feel tough and padded, not too restrictive.Very tight - I measured my leg and ordered according to the chart but it’s a battle to get them on. Fit ok when they are on though.
