I added this to my leather belt system, and it’s an excellent addition for keeping chisels and sharp tools safe. The leather is thick and stiff enough to maintain shape over time, and the snap system secures tightly to any pouch or belt. It protects your tools and your legs—no more accidental pokes when kneeling or moving around. I appreciate the craftsmanship—definitely worth the investment for tradesmen who want to extend the life of their belt and tools.

I've put this to use by clipping it into the leather hammer holder loop on my right hand pouch. I never use that loop, and this adds an extra pocket. Holds my chisel and a scratch awl, and prevents sharp tools from ending up in a leather pocket. (Which would soon be cut through)

Great sheath for your beater job site chisel. Clips securely onto a belt, in a tool pouch, or an apron pocket. Enough room on the sides to squeeze in a pencil, marking knife, or other narrow tool. My chisel gets squeezed at the top, keeping it secured. Hasnt fallen out once. Clip is secure as well. Takes one hand on clip and the other on the sheath to remove it from a dirty apron.

Slick little addition to your tool bags or pouch. This guy is designed for all your sharp things that normally wear an inconvenient hole where you don’t want one. Made from durable and lightweight plastic, it will hold chisels, screw drivers, utility knives etc and even has a built in pencil holder. That and this fits neatly inside a tool belt pouch with a convenient clip to ensure it stays put where you place it. Can’t go wrong for the price. Brand name. Would buy again.

This tool shield is nice to have in your tool/nail bag. It is of good quality and fit, and fits the slots of Occidental tool bags properly. What can you really say about a little piece of plastic, other than if you carry tools in your bag that you don't want putting holes in your bag, or just to hold upright so that your tools are at the ready, and a good angle for grabbing, then you might want to get yourself some of these. The only negative thing I have to say about it is that the molded in pencil holder is about worthless for any kind of carpenters pencil I've ever used. It is a good idea gone bad, as it is too small to fit any pencil I have ever seen on a construction site. Were they to make it to accommodate either a flat or rounded carpenters pencil, I would have given it 5 stars.

Another sturdy, well conceived product from Occidental. Stays put when attached as designed. Will add mileage to your toolbag investment and save sharp tools from wearing out the bottoms of your bags. I don't know about other knives, but the Lenox utility knife locks into this thing with a positive "click" (Think Glock) and stays put until you retrieve it. This product will work with any tool pouch/bag and is easily worth the money. Another success story from Occidental.
