I have been using this product for over a month now and would like to share my thoughts and reasoning for my review.This dehumidifier is a small space item which slowly removes moisture from the air. The small tank takes days to fill depending on the amount of moisture in the air. When it is on, the round light is blue. When the tank is full, the round light turns red. Easy.The tank is on the bottom back as expected. It is easy to remove, empty, and replace.What concerns me is when I replace the empty tank and turn the dehumidifier back on. When I turn it back on each time after emptying the tank, the product becomes extremely loud with its excessive whirling/motor noise. Each time I empty the tank, I turn it off and on several times and the loud noise prevails each time. Then I lightly smack it with my hand and the noise returns to normal levels.I delayed in writing this review as I was hoping the above was a fluke, but it is not. It happens each time I empty the tank, replace it and turn the product back on. Otherwise, it works just fine. I would not buy this again.I bought this for my home office. It is important to have low noise levels due to the work I do.

This is a review for the Aiho Electric Dehumidifier w/2L tank sold by DMAI.The unit is perfect for a bathroom down the hall, but too loud and bright if you plan on placing this unit anywhere near your bedroom. You can technically deal with the brightness by having it face the wall (vent is on opposite side of led) or by covering the led, but not much you can do about the noise.Also, unit uses a good amount of electricity - it's like leaving a 180 watt light bulb on all the time. The rating on the external power brick for the unit draws in 1.5 amps, and outputs 12V 6A. I've left it on for about 3 days now and the brick is warm to the touch but not overly hot.I am fairly impressed at the 2 liter capacity considering I paid less than $20 during the 2019 black Friday sales.Hopefully, I will have better luck then the other reviewer who had their unit die in three months.If the manufacture is reading this: consider having a multi fan speed switch instead of just on and off - lower fan speed = quite operation.

I purchased this for my 3x3 grow tent. It arrived in the 8th it is now the 11th it has yet to fill the reservoir and my humidity monitor is constantly beeping from humidity getting to high, given I can see the tank filling it is working however I’m not so sure about the amount of space it claims to be for. I would recommend it be used in baby’s room/bathroom/living area given it does take some humidity and it looks REALLY nice. It looks so nice I’m not sure if I’ll return it to find a better suit for my tent or just throw it in my living room to dry the air and make my place look much more “classy”. Overall good product just depends on what your using it for.

It worked very well and was quiet.... but after a few month, it got noisy. It's very noisy after I took out the water every time but after a few hours or after the water tank was 1/4 filled, it stops the noise. I am still using it because it works well, but only problem is the noise every time.Update: After about one year, the switch didn't work and completely not working any more. It worked well even though it's noisy, but worked only one year. Disappointed...

UPDATE: Changed from 5 stars to 1 star due to horrible customer service. The dehumidifier stopped working within 3 months, and the seller never responded to my email inquiry about the manufacturer warranty. I called Amazon Customer Service for help, but even Amazon cannot get a hold of the seller or manufacturer. I know the price reflects the quality and I'm trying to focus on the fact that the dehumidifier did work pretty good for almost three months, but I'm really upset at how the seller never bothered to respond to my emails. I'm sure they don't care because I was out of the return policy when I emailed them, so they are not worried about paying attention to me.--------------------------------------------------My walk-in closet was filled with musky smell and had molded walls because of the humidity. I tried using the Arm & Hammer Moisture Absorber & Max Odor Eliminator Hanging Bags and they worked pretty well, absorbing a lot of water in the air. However, the humidity is still too much for the bags to handle, so I decided to buy a dehumidifier. I'm glad I made the decision because the closet is finally free of musky smell and molds! The dehumidifier absorbed a full tank within less than two weeks. This works really well in small spaces, definitely recommend it!

extremely effective - even with dry air, this thing pulls a lot of moisture. -1 star for having the tendency to fall over incredibly easily due to a lack of stabilizing technology or even just feet, since this means that the water in the reservoir spills back into the device. if it is in a location with no traffic, though, it is fantastic.

What an impressive little device i must say i received it yesterday and i cant believe how well it works im ordering another asap its very quite works perfectly looks really good and the cost was very low i think everyone should by this item but let me order another one first lol no but seriously i recommend this item very highly its been on since ive gotten it and it has since filled up midway from all the moister its taking from the air in my apt im amazed

It's definitely small, but it broke almost as soon as i got it. Really cheap plastic, but it did get the job done before the plastic broke.
