Replacement for 5304448988
I used this to fix my Electrolux E42BS75EPS. This part worked as a replacement for the fresh food thermistor (Frigidaire 5304448988) at a much lower price. This part has the same connector and produces the same resistance values throughout the temperature range. The diameter of the sensor was slightly larger and the wires were longer, but those differences were easily accommodated. This part is very easy to install.I was having problems with the refrigerator section not cooling, and often the evaporator would ice over. I replaced the refrigerator evaporator thermistor at the same time, so I am not sure which part fixed the problem. But, it seems to be working, now.

Good replacement, but overpriced.
Good replacement temp sensor, but a little overpriced, I think. This is just a generic 5k temp sensor, that can be had much cheaper as a 4-pack. What raises the price is the tag on the bag and the 2 cent plastic connector at the end.
