Hey Grandude!

It's a simple story, picture book, for I'd guess 2-6 yr olds. I actually bought this for me to have, being a Beatles fan, but my 11 yr old got a kick out of it bc Paul McCartney wrote it. I loved it and the illustrations too. The story line is very cute and imaginative. It's also a nice sized book w thicker pages, so it's well- made and should last. Nice book. Sir Paul did a great job. Kids will enjoy it.

This is for our family's Granddude (my father in law) that loves the Beatles and has created a legacy of Beatles lovers. I read this to my toddler before wrapping it up because she was so intrigued by it. She loved the vibrant pictures and the verbiage. She repeated a lot of the words because they were new and different. The way the book reads is so fun and you can feel Paul's presence like you're hearing a conversation with him and his grand kids ("chillers"). This is based on what I've seen from his stage banter and interviews.

Our "Grand-Dude" was thrilled by this, he had no idea "The Paul McCartney" wrote a children's book.Best surprise Father's Day gift.

Wonderful, colorful artwork. The story is great. I bought some little compasses for my grandkids to play with while we read the story. A real hit! Then we found places on the globe that the kids in the book traveled to, like Australia for the beach, Texas and Wyoming for the cowboy and Switzerland.

I already had his second book and my grandsons love it so I had to get the first one. A favorite.

Another lovely McCartney piece of artwork. The book is well-written, well-illustrated and the characters diverse. I gave this book to my grandkids, who loved it and not long after that discovered that McCartney also wrote classical music (Standing Stone, with the London Symphony Orchestra). The man's talent knows no bounds. Buy the book; well worth the money.

Bought this as a gift. There was a slight printing error on 1 page but I didn't want to bother to exchange it. It's a sweet book but not so engaging but of course the allure of Sir Paul & all makes it a charmer. I was delighted & did not know beforehand that the illustrator is a fellow Torontonian & grad of my alma mater so congrats, that's an honour to create the images for this story & the images are 100% excellent; actually, the illustrations make the book...

My Grandchildren are so excited to have got this in ebook ,I am going to get it in book form.They all sat reading along with me , can I just say we are a dynamic family and it was so easy to follow.
