Genius and worth every cent
Out of the box I could tell this had quality when I saw the steel poles with the slick ceramic-type coating. I wanted black but with shipping time got white and it looks surprisingly good and I am kind of glad I got it in white. Assembles without any tools whatsoever, your wife could definitely put this thing together even if she still asks you to (its fun to do). I'm an engineer and this thing is basically exactly what I wanted. Plato's ideal of an adjustable closet rod. I recently moved and my closet got a lot smaller and much more shallow, but I also don't want to install anything permanent since I am renting, I wanted to move the hanging location side to side within the space if I felt like it later. Feels very sturdy and they were smart to patent this thing to avoid knockoffs. Price point is perfect sub 80 in terms of materials but for the problem its solving for me + quality I'd even pay a fair bit more. The button on the vertical rods releases and it'd be easy to adjust, even just this lock mechanism feels tight but they have a pointed thumb tighten screw on there to slightly nick the rod inside to bite into it and ensure it doesn't slip down. I'm not putting 352 pounds of winter coats on this thing so I don't know but I'd be pretty sold it would hold 150-200 no problem.

Amazing product
These racks can really hold a lot! I have a total of 231 hangers (yes, I counted) and they show no signs of giving in. MUCH sturdier than I expected. The poles can be extended further out to hang long dresses, bags, or hats. I extended the bars up to the maximum recommend leghth without extending them past the vertical pole and I was still able to fit 5 long summer dresses on one side and I also have a purse hanging on the other side. Installing them was fairly easy. The hardest part is getting the vertical poles perfectly aligned at a 90 degree angle to the floor and ceiling in order to reduce the chance of them slipping and falling over with the weight of the clothes (a leveler would really be handy for this part). And make sure they are pulled tight once you have them in place. Other than that, everything else was a breeze. I love that it can be adjusted to the exact width and height you want. There's plenty of room underneath to add a shelf or some storage bins. I would highly recommend this item!

The Best Closet Organizer for and RV!
I bought to put into an RV as the rod it came with is cheap plastic and broke first trip out. This closet organizer is fantastic! Easy to install and versatile fit makes it compatible with a lot of closets. I happen to have a fairly large closet in my RV so can use both rods easily. Best part, it doesn't move or collapse during travel. My clothes do not fall off of it during travel. Highly recommend replacing your cheap curtain rod with this in your RV's.

Do NOT hesitate to buy!
All I can say is wow! We have a very horrid closet system in our rented home. The closet is large but offering two tiny racks to hang clothes on will absolutely not cut it. I bought this because I don't want to damage this spacious closet (and trust me if you had only about 20 items of clothes this closet would look like a picture in a magazine. Unfortunately, we have work clothes and regular clothes so we have to have some space and the hanging bars need to hold some weight. These racks gave us the additional hanging space that we needed. They are sturdy and hold plenty of clothes and they will not do any damage. I loved the first one so well that I bought a second. I could not be more pleased. It takes very little time to assemble them and they look good as well. I filled them up with a good sized load and they are strong enough to handle it. I would not put all my heavy winter gear on there or try to swing fom them but I have a goodly load on these and have had zero issues (over 60 days now). I am very happy with these and I find they are worth every penny. A really good buy on a great product!!!

Customer service eventually made it right...
Update: After posting this review and a seller review, the seller did reach out and send the part we needed to fix the hanging rack and get my husband's closet back INTO his closet. They also included extra, so we wouldn't be in this predicament again. So I will revise my rating to reflect their effort to make it right. Original review: I purchased this double hanging rack for my husband once we learned that the old plaster walls in our 1960s home wouldn't allow us to use a closet system affixed to the wall. I went with this brand because of the positive reviews and the lifetime warranty. It was very easy to install and worked well for a time, but my husband entered his closet a couple of months ago to find half of his clothing in the floor because the bracket holding the bar broke. (See pictures) But there's a lifetime warranty, so no problem, right? WRONG. We submitted photos of the broken part with order information to the manufacturer's website THREE TIMES with no response. So we tried contacting them directly through Amazon, hoping for better results. This time, we were at least able to speak to someone at the manufacturer. They apologized for the lack of response and asked us to submit the pictures and order info on their website again (this makes FOUR TIMES) and they would be sure to get us the new part. However, after submitting the info once again through their site, two more weeks have passed with absolutely no response. So, I'm about to enter month 3 of having my husband's clothing strewn all over our bedroom and the guest bedroom because of this closet bar failure and lack of response to our multiple warranty claims. Infuriating. If you're considering this brand over another because of the warranty, I would STEER CLEAR.

Easy peasy
I live in a very old house. My closet is 2x3. Thank God I wear the same pieces over and over. This came with instructions that weren't written in some foreign language that required a translator from Google. All of the bits were clearly marked. It seemed fairly straightforward and I tackled it myself. Now what you need to know is I'm 5 ft tall. In a my closet maneuvering the rods into place wasn't easy but still doable. What wasn't? The placement of the upper rod. It's over my head by a good bit. This isn't ideal and it is absolutely not the fault of the product. Blame Mother Nature for putting my shoulders so close to the ground. That is literally my only issue with this product; I'm too short. I assembled it in under 10 minutes and would have completed installation just as quick but for my unfortunate height issue. I called in a taller person and together we got it done. I think most everyone will need a second person because tightening the rods while holding them would be super tricky. It holds an astounding number of items. I now have all of my summer and winter items on hangers!! Tops and coats on the upper rod and bottoms on the lower. You gotta give me points for creativity. I don't have 6 million items but it holds up well. It's sturdier than I would have imagined and it didn't require a trip to the hardware store and 4 Hail Mary's. I would buy it again if I had another closet.

This is the one if you live in an apartment with limited space and a do-not drill into the walls policy
We're so excited we found this item, it was buried among a bunch of other ones, but suddenly we noticed it. The default closet configuration of the apartment we're renting doesn't allow for much to hang, however there was plenty of room to install more hangers or shelves, but you know how it is if you can not drill into the walls. Compression rods, obviously make a lot of sense here. Took the plunge and ordered this one, not sure if it would hold up to what we needed, but it's working out brilliantly. The white finish isn't really clear from the pictures, it's not like a flat or glossy white, it's a bit rougher surface, personally I don't think it's that pretty, however you really do not see it that much and the rough texture actually helps with the hangers somehow. The instructions are okay, I feel they forgot a step, so if you're not careful you may have the entire thing almost installed and realize you forgot to add the little sections that hold the crossbars. So use your head in combination with the instructions and you should be fine. Installation really was a breeze. Handy tools are a measuring tape to ensure the vertical poles are the same distance from the wall, a level so you have everything straight and a step ladder, so you can adjust the top horizontal rod easier. From the design, and our installation it becomes clear, the straighter you install everything, the more sturdy it will be. In our configuration we have a three tier shoe rack (not included) underneath, then the first cross bar, and the second cross bar almost at the ceiling, none of the upper clothes touch the lower rod, and the ones on the lower are still clear of the shoes. Obviously this will depend on the height of your ceiling. Botton line: We have it packed with clothes, top is mostly heavy winter clothes, bottom pants and shirts. It's not moving, or even feeling semi unstable. The included grab rod is a plus if you install the upper cross section rather high.
