Perfect Balance of Variety and Organization for Little Artists!
I was initially torn between this set of crayons and another much larger tub, but ultimately I decided to go with this one, and I'm so glad I did! I wanted to find a balance between offering my three-year-old enough variety to spark creativity without overwhelming him with too many crayons that could potentially turn into a mess. The larger set seemed like a lot for his age, and I was worried that he might get distracted or frustrated by having too many options at once. On the other hand, this set struck the perfect middle ground, it offers a solid selection of colors without being too excessive. One of the best parts about this set is the thoughtful design. It comes with its own storage container, which is a huge plus for keeping the crayons organized. As any parent of a toddler knows, keeping art supplies in order is no small feat! The storage is not only practical but also compact, making it easy to keep everything neatly stored away when not in use. Another standout feature is the built-in sharpener. This is such a great addition, as it eliminates the need for a separate sharpener, which could easily get lost or forgotten. The sharpener works surprisingly well and keeps the crayons in good shape, ready for more use. It’s small touches like this that make this set so convenient and user friendly for both me and my child.Overall, this set has been a fantastic choice. The variety of colors is just enough to keep my little one engaged without the chaos of too many options. The organizational features, especially the built in sharpener and storage container, have made it a breeze to manage. I highly recommend this set for anyone with a toddler who loves to color, as it strikes the perfect balance between variety, functionality, and ease of use.

Love that the crayons come with their own carrying case!
I was tired of my daughter’s crayons being strewn everywhere. We resorted to giant Ziploc bags, but the crayons still never made it there. Having the built in case for 152 crayons is great. It sits in front of her as she’s coloring and makes it easy to replace the crayon where it belongs…not on the floor!

Worth it.
Bought this for my son as a "traveling" art setup. He loves it. We love it. He loves having the variety the box offers and he has gone through a majority of the included coloring sheets. The markers while slightly messing don't bleed onto everything which is a plus. Highly recommend for tiny artists.

Really full of supplies!
These supplies have been so popular with kids visiting my sister's Palm Desert home!

Did the formula change?
I can’t believe I’m out here reviewing crayons like it’s Yelp for kindergarten supplies, but here we are. These things are so waxy I could buff my hardwood floors with them. And the glitter crayon? Oh please. It looks sparkly, but try to color with it and it gives you nothing but crushed dreams and a faint shimmer of disappointment. The metallic is great, by far the best. But what’s happened Crayola?

Very much worth the money!
None were broken, very nice collection and I love the storage carousel! And the way the pencil sharpener is tucked in where it will be easy to use. This is well worth the money in my opinion.

You don't needs this -- but you want this!
What other art supplies can you spend under $20 and get the best? If you're not broke -- just get this. And buy it for yourself! Let your kids have the 24 box. They won't appreciate "Cerulean" or "Mountain Meadow" anyway.Crayola crayons don't get the respect they deserve as an art medium -- I think because we've taken them for granted since we were kids. The colors are lovely. They blend, they layer (to a point), they can be scratched, rubbed and worked. I don't know if they are "archival" but I've had drawings on my wall for 10 years with no noticeable fading.I do recommend you experiment with paper -- the best has a little "tooth". The copier paper you steal from work (LOL) might be too smooth.
