They really are FRYE's!!!
Now I know that my star appraisal i.e. 5 does not match up with the answers to how the product fits but hear me out. Firstly these boots are amazing and I was able to get them whilst (just this pair) were on sale! Usually they are in excess of $500 and I scored them for $180 (US). The boots that I bought were titled 'Dark Brown Stone Wash' yet I noticed that there were another pair that had the exact same picture but were titled 'Dark Brown Burnished Antiqued Leather'. How could this be? Especially considering that the latter pair were full priced? I then went on to the FRYE Website and found the 'Dark Brown Stone Wash' boots... They were a completely different looking boot! Amazon had shared the same picture for two different boots (and in fact, the picture did not look like either boot: stone wash or antiqued! At least this is what I hoped when I decided to buy them! ... They were exactly the same as the boots I found on the FRYE Website! Size was a huge problem for me! I read and read all reviews hoping to find a common thread i.e. too small etc but there were a lot of contradictions. Normally I am a size 7 (in Aus which is the same in the US). I read a lot of reviews that these boots ran small so I decided I would try a size 7.5. I have never been an 8! I wear a lot of converse and it's always 7 (5 UK) but one thing I did think was I was usually a 38 when shoes were sized in EU. The 38 was 7.5 and that was my rationalisation. When I first word the boots (with socks... don't know why you wouldn't wear sock) my right toes had pins and needles!! Eventually they went away and I realised that the leather is soo soft, it was moulding to my feet! My foot fit into the boot and it didn't hurt in a few hours time as shoes that are a bit too small tend to do. The next three days however of wearing the boots constantly (wanted to wear them to bed I love them so much) I began to get a blister on my heel (first right foot and then left). Now every shoe that I have bought that have initially given me blistered heels end up being my most comfortable pair! This is true for this boot too! They just need to be worn in, literally. The boots weren't badly made i.e. with glue showing, or stitching coming undone as I had read in some reviews. There are no sizes in the boot but this is how they make them and I am a five star in love with them! Sorry for the novel guys but I think this review would have helped me so I'm hoping it will help you! Go for it, you won't be sorry!

Amazing boots!
I found these on Amazon and the price was right. I probably would’ve normally ordered a brown pair but since the black was about $40 less expensive, I went with black.I read several reviews that suggested sizing down, I’m so happy I didn’t! I’m always a size 8 1/2. I recently ordered a pair of Freebird booties and since they don’t come in half sizes, I ordered a 9, and I’ve regretted it ever since. They’re a little too big and slip off the back of my foot. I’ve worn them outside so it’s too late, I’m keeping those. I didn’t want to make that same mistake with these. I ordered an 8 1/2 and when they got here they were so tight! They weren’t really too small or short, the leather was just so tight across the top of my foot, it kind of hurt. I know they’re high quality leather and will probably stretch out, so I decided to wear them around the house for a little bit to see if I could stand them. While I had them on I looked up how to help them stretch. I put on my thickest pair of socks, squeezed my foot in and heated the boots up with a hair dryer. It worked perfectly. I wore them to work on feet all day the very next day! Some reviews have suggested that these were not genuine Fryes but I’m positive they are. They were boxed nicely, the buckles say Frye, they came with a little card, and the leather is just amazing! They look, feel, and smell like the best boots I’ve ever owned. I’m in love! Buy them!

These boots had to be reurned.
They are too narrow while putting them on. You have to push very hard to get them on and then the top of your foot aches. They were the right length but way too narrow.

Great Looking and Well Made
I wear a regular width size 9 and have a "regular" heel. I found the boots to be true to size. The leather is stiff but I expected them to be. I bought them in October and have only worn them about six to ten times and only two of those times were for all day. I might still be in the breaking in phase. They are made to last and I'm sure it will takes some time to "make them mine." The front of the boot is fitting nicely and molding to my feet without any problem but I am having problem with the heel. My heel slips and I get blisters. I can't wear heavier socks or else the front would be too tight. I can't use any kind of heel strips because they come loose when putting the boots on. I'm puzzled about the heel fit. Maybe if the front loosens up a bit more then I can wear heavier socks. I have other boots that are comparable in quality (not as stiff and rugged though) and they felt good right out of the box. I'm new to this type of boot. Frye has a great reputation and I love the look of the boot and the quality. I'll update today's comment as time goes on.April 2013: Unfortunately, these boots are not getting better with time. My heel still slips. I tightened the straps hoping that this would keep my heels from slipping. It didn't help - just made it hard to get the boots off or on. This boot just doesn't fit well in the heel and rubs. I wish that I hadn't bought them - one can't wear boots if they don't feel good. Good reason not to buy off of a website without knowing how they will fit. Other reviews say they feel great - this is the only brand I've ever bought (from a website or not) that felt so bad.

Service après vente impeccable, livraison la deuxième journée
La botte était trop petite, j’ai échangé sans problème pour une plus grande, tout ça dans la même semaine

If you don’t want a protective Work boot this checks all the boxes!
I love the boot, to bad I couldn’t get my size in a none engineered Veronica boot. My toes will be protected. Fits well and there is no harm to my feet while wearing them. Sometimes when wearing my other steel toed boots... it damages my big toe nail. This boot does not. Thank you.

Talon sort du pied
Le cuir est beau, la couleur est belle, mais le pied est beaucoup trop serré par rapport au talon, qui lui est beaucoup trop grand. Même si le pied est trop serré, la botte sort du pied en marchant. Mauvais design.

So Sad! :(
I wanted to SO love these boots. The quality is great. The color is great. The issue is the fit. This is my first pair of FRYE boots and I really wanted them to be perfect. My foot fits an 8.5 in any other shoe or boot except these. The toe box is very narrow which makes it hard to slip my foot in (and I have a slim foot) however the heel slips so I am confused. Maybe it's this specific pair of boots. I guess that's the downfall of purchasing on-line. Will return as I can't justify keeping them with the ill fit. So sad as they do look nice.
