It works.
This composter is easy to put together, holds a lot and I think it will be very useful. It is made out of plastic but so what, It is sturdy enough to hold grass, leaves, and other back yard stuff. The top can be opened from the left or right side but so far I just lift the entire top off to add stuff. I have no complaints.

Not perfect but excellent
I bought one of these in April and just bought another today. The only other (as of this time) review is right that it is not especially heavily built or sturdy. Moreover, it is not strong enough nor is the top secure enough to defeat assault from a raccoon (or similarly large mammal) seeking food items. (I use a barrel composter I purchased at Amazon for food.) And, when setting it up, be sure it is square. That said, it does its job wonderfully! I have had no trouble with wind. It is huge, and that probably assists it in creating an environment where its contents get HOT. So it is excellent in breaking down garden waste into usable compost.

So far, so good...
I've not had the product long enough to rate it's long-term durability, but so far, so good. The product came separated for shipping, but was easy enough to put together. It seems to be holding up well. I'm only around 1/5 of the way full, but don't expect any issues. Everything seems as advertised so far. If it fits your needs, I wouldn't hesitate to try this product.

Very sturdy, snaps together easily and keeps compost moist in a desert climate
This is the plastic compost bin that I purchased after an extensive search. It is exactly right for my desert climate. It went together perfectly and is keeping my compost moist ( or at least from drying out so fast! ). The perforations allow air entry and the 1mx1mx1m size is the smallest you can have in the 10% humidity we have. The top and the bottom openings work well. I'm very satisfied.

Best composter we ever owned
The composter was easy to assemble, The ease of access was better than all the other ones we had.

Not worth the money
I have had been using for about a year and a half and the walls have completely blown out. When I put this together I needed to add some stakes and iron rods the sides and bottom for sturdiness. This helped for awhile but it was never really square. Once you access the dirt it doesn't go back together no matter how hard you try. The lid no longer fits on the top and you can smell the contents on a windy day. It is now completely useless. 0/10 would recommend for the money.

We had a windy day the composter wound up in ...
We had a windy day the composter wound up in pieces in my yard, some of them having small pieces broken out.Small animals spread the compost that was in it around the area. It is now moved to a very sheltered spot, with astake in each corner inside and duct tape and tie wraps holding it together. You didn't leave room for less than 1 star. It's usable now. I am VERY underwhelmed.

One good, one bad
Easily assembled and quite solid. I bought two, the second was nothing like the one shown and a complete nightmare to assemble and not at all what I wanted.

An excellent choice.
We finally got around to sorting out those areas of the garden which had been overlooked for too long. Part of the overall process was to find a suitable large compost bin and we settled for one of these. Although the unit is very sturdy the lid does tend to get blown off on windy days. This problem was eventually resolved by using cable ties. The unit was very easy to assemble and was filled with all sorts of foliage, household scraps, grass cuttings and even horse manure from the local stables. Realising we needed at least two more, we looked at various options including different materials, makes and types but always came back to the one we knew to be strong enough for the job.One word of caution; I have seen the same compost bin (Eco King 600 litre in Green) for sale at various prices up to £130 each. We purchased our first unit for £59:99 (free postage) on 13 Sept 17 and were able to purchase two more at the same price.NM

difficult to get compost out
We have had this compost bin for several years. It does the job but not ideal. The click system goes together easily, but also comes apart easily. My bin is literally bursting at the seams, and when I try to click it back to together, it quickly comes apart again. That being said, it is still standing-- has never completely come apart. The biggest problem for me is that if you put the bin against a wall it is very hard to reach the compost in the back with a shovel. If your bin is free standing where you can access both sides, you would have no trouble, but most people want to tuck their compost bin in a corner behind the shed or garage where only one side is accessible. This bin is really too big for that kind of situation.

Hasn't lasted 2 Years
We only got this compost bin 2 years ago and it's needing to be replaced already. When we originally put it together, everything fit really well and we were rather impressed. The sides all clicked into place making it really sturdy and the lid clicked shut really well. 'Perfect!' we thought. Now, however, it's a completely different story. The entire box has pretty much warped. The lid barely stays on top, nevermind locks into place and the sides have completely come away at the bottom of the container, letting the compost inside spill out of all four corners... It's now highly possible we have rats nesting within the box!So in short, unless you take time to reinforce all of the joins inside and out before putting any compostables in, I can't say as I really recommend this product, sadly.

So good I had to buy another.
I bought this to increase my compositing capacity from my other ECO KING 600L., which has served me well over the summer months and is now full. The unit arrived flat packed and was very easy to assembly, just snapping together, I don't know why other reviewers had difficulty doing this as both of mine were very easy to assemble. They are a nice green colour which blends into our garden. There is no base to the composter, it just sits on the grass to allow the worms access to the composte material. When loaded the compost gets nice and warm and being an enclosure it keeps the mosture in so it does not dry out like open compost heaps. There is a large flap to the front and another on the rear, allowing access to the newly composted material.Overal I am very impressed with the cnstruction and operation of the composter, so much so that I am now the proud owner of two of them. I highly recommend this to anyone who is serious about recycling their garden "waste".
