Easy to connect and sound is clear and loud… I hope they last. I was able to put them in different places in my yard at least 30 feet apart and still connects well with each other with no problem..

Just installed these speakers a few days ago. Extremely easy install into vinyl siding on my backyard deck (studs behind siding). I bought these to pair with my Denon DRA800H AVR in my living room, about 50 feet away through an exterior wall. I also bought a bluetooth transmitter, which I connected to my zone 2 pre out on the AVR. So, after all that, I can now listen to different audio on my deck than what is playing inside the house on zone 1. Upon plugging in the bluetooth transmitter and speakers, they instantly paired automatically, and I was rocking out on the deck.I've seen other reviews from people who are not impressed with the sound, but with my setup, they sound fantastic. Perhaps because the audio is being driven by a top notch AVR, and not a phone or something. They come with speaker wire included, but I used higher grade speaker wire. I'm sure that makes some difference.I can't speak to durability, as they've only been installed for two days. They are installed under the eave of my roof, so that should protect them from the elements somewhat.Definitely worth the money in my opinion!

Pros:Easy install -- worked right out of the box.Easy to pair with smartphone / AlexaGood sound quality (but I flew B-52s so take that with a grain of salt). But no buzzing or obvious issues as some have reported. I did fire them up to check before I mounted them.Can get very loud -- 2 clicks above mute on iPhone about as loud as they can and still hold a conversation. (could be a con depending on your situation)Cons:Sound volume when paired with Alexa is very low -- had to turn Alexa volume almost all the way up for comfortable listening level. Echo about 6 feet from speaker. Not sure why it is so different depending on source.Power brick is an ordinary indoor consumer brick -- since these are outdoor speakers, you have to put it in some sort of waterproof box or where it won't get wet.Included speaker wire is very thin -- easy replacement at Home Depot or wherever.If you got this thinking that you could add this to a multi-room music setup with Alexa, look elsewhere. Alexa does not support multi-room music with Bluetooth speakers (Amazon limitation). The only work-around is to do a hard-wire jack from your Echo to the speakers, but there is no aux input for the speakers. This isn't a speaker problem per se, but if you are thinking about this use case, no Bluetooth speaker is going to work.

These speakers turned out to be one of my favorite enhancements to our backyard. Bought these for myself for father's day and used all summer. Once I got them set up and mounted they are SUPER easy to use and add great ambiance to our pool area.I like that I didn't have to install a receiver and that via Bluetooth I can control the music through my phone - either while I am floating around or simply with "Hey Google". Didn't need to mess with another piece of equipment.I have them plugged into an outdoor smart plug too, so everything just magically happens.Sound on higher volumes is a little distorted, but for people who don't want to tick off their neighbors, you should be fine!Very happy with the purchase. Going to warp them up for the winter to protect them, and will report back next year.

Speakers stop working after 34 days, will not power up, and now cannot return due to its over 30 days, contact manufacturer but sends straight to voicemail. Sounded good at start, but started sounding tinny and now don’t work. Used only 5 times after mounting.

We are using these in our pool area. Easy to connect with Bluetooth and sound quality is great!

I purchased the speakers in April 2022 for outdoor usage. I added a protective plastic hood over both speakers to add extra protection from rain and elements and they performed very well. Really good performance. For a while.... The woofer on the main speaker went out after 9 months of usage resulting in the heavy vibrating sound (Typically what happens with a woofer). Passive speaker is fine. However, could not find any replacement woofer that I thought would work. I ended up purchasing an another set- Price was still good (actually lower) and outweighed the time, expense and misery (warranty claim), searching, repairing and hoping the repair would work. I hope the woofer does not go out on this set. I guess I have a a set I can cannibalize for parts if it happens again.

Installed easily. Connected easily. I had a problem and reached out to the supplier (Person naked this responded), and they were super attentive and sent a replacement. Problem was more then able and not the unit. I’m using these off the rear deck of our cottage and the sound is great. Highly recommend these for the price. I wouldn’t want a smaller size as I’m not sure the bass would come through as well as these. If you want $300-400 bass and sound, go spend that, but I have a lot of speakers of high to mid quality all over various properties, and these work great. I’m connecting it to an Echo Dot through Bluetooth so the family or guests can just ask for music or whatever anytime they want.Thanks to Chris at Herdio for being so quick to respond! Bought these for the summerhouse balcony, there amazing, look good, solid build, good quite sound AND good loud sound from both speakers, supplied the extra cable (if needed i didn't), and simple technology to allow you to simply plug in the speakers to the electricity and Bluetooth from any device your music from any music platform. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a decent outdoor speaker system.
