Oh, WOW!!!
A little back story... We used to live in Western NC, in the Asheville area. Our home had its own private well, fed by a natural spring that came down the mountain. The water was sweet... delicious... had body and substance... and was always a pleasure to drink. We couldn't find any better. Couple years back, we moved from NC to Northwestern Ohio, where we found ourselves on Municipal water fed by Lake Erie. On a good day, the water tasted foul by comparison. Enter "Toxic Algae Blooms" on Lake Erie. A certain bottled water corporation (as well as other companies) was siphoning water at such an alarming rate, it lowered the water table, and the Toxic Algae Blooms became very problematic. So, not only did the water taste foul, it tasted like "pool water", trying to combat the algae. You could pour a glass, set it out overnight, and you would see particulate separation. Ew. Disgusting. Gross. SO..... ever since we've lived here, we purchased Filtered Water at the self-serve stations at our local supermarkets. The Filtered water... although it was clean, it was flat. Virtually flavorless. It was "dead water". It tasted like "air". Though it was safe to drink, it offered no real benefit outside of being a "liquid". It was the best we could get at an affordable price, while keeping up with sustainability in plastic reduction. We had a small army of 5 Gallon PBA free bottles, that are recyclable. SO.... it was time to bite the bullet, and purchase a Reverse Osmosis kit for the house. After reading pages and pages of reviews (which are all subjective, always consider the source), and watching YouTube reviews and comparisons... I decided on the Home Master TMAFC-ERP Artesian Full Contact Undersink Reverse Osmosis Water Filter System. It arrived in a neat, well packed box, bagged and tagged. After snipping all the zip-ties, the Flying Spaghetti Monster lay on the floor at my feet. I was a bit intimidated. Everyone and their mother says to "READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST"... so I did. Let's see.... hmmm..... Three brackets.... four connections.... snap it in.... done. 30 minute installation, and I was taking my time. The longest part of the whole operation was performing the Fill/Drain/Purge procedure to get everything working correctly. Now, that first glass of water. To sum it up in one word: Bliss. It tasted EXTREMELY close to that natural spring-fed water we used to have. It has body... it has weight... it feels like you are actually drinking something besides "liquid air". The flavor has a bit of sweetness to it, with a bit of an aftertaste that is "mineral-esque". Very pleasant. Now, just because something is "new", doesn't necessarily mean it's "perfect". Sometimes things can go wrong during manufacturing, that can go un-noticed during QC. I had questions... I called their Customer Service to ask if something was a "characteristic", or a potential issue, since I don't have a reference or a baseline. I noted there was a small leak at one of the fittings of the "Shut-Off Valve" as well. INSTANTLY, they directed me in a shut-down procedure, remove this pipe, connect to that, pull this, stick that, twist this around... and VIOLA!!! The Shut-Off valve was removed, and operating perfectly without it. They said they will send me a new one. later THAT DAY, I receive an email about shipping notification. The new part arrived, with some extra goodies to say "sorry for the inconvenience", and instructions on installation. Back in business in less than 5 minutes. DONE!! The system is working FLAWLESSLY, producing some might fine water, and I am extremely happy I went with this choice... Outstanding product, outstanding Customer Service, outstanding Warranty... You can't go wrong with this setup. ALSO.... given the fact these modular filters are literally "Plug 'n' Play", installing this unit in tight, under-counter spaces makes filter changing that much easier, as opposed to the standard "screw-on" type, and the tools needed (like the spanner) to do the removal... Once the system is de-pressurized, disconnecting the hoses only gave me a dribble, not a spillage. Consider that as part of your decision making.

Quality taste, less water waste, easy install!
Top tier quality for all drinking water needs! It took me a while to conduct research on a RO system. I came across this product (thanks Chat GPT) and also compared to other popular items on the market. This item in specific stood out because of the pump that reduces water waste. Excellent for the water bill. The system is easy to install, and instructions are seamless and clear to follow. The water quality is exceptional! Highly recommended for anyone searching for clean tasting water and competitive pricing!

Best all around RO model and customer care
We’ve owned this RO model for 2 years now and have been completely satisfied. I spent a ton of time researching water filters and many different brands. We used to hv a kinetics RO filtration system and that one always felt frustrating in their lack of available customer care or testing and really expensive. My parents also owned one of those and live out in the country where they are on a Well system and have to have a pretty complicated set up to get their water to taste right and to be clear etc. and we were both really done with that unit and its lack of support. We each did our research and concluded that this model from Perfect Water was the bees knees! I think the value of the system is incredible. It hit all the points we wanted such as excellent customer service and excellent filtration results with great taste and a great testimony for reliability and minimal maintenance. It was also important to me this time we had a re-mineralization kit of some sort as I was quite concerned about the acidity of RO filters. I love that this one covers all of that and we also got the Permeate pump which greatly increased the flow and the efficiency and we’ve been 100% pleased with that. We have a lot of company and a family of five and we have no trouble keeping up with all the water we could ever want. Everyone’s pleased with the taste so while I can’t say it’s superior when I compare it to our favorite vacation place that has excellent Sweetwater for whatever reason :-). But we use municipal water and the filtration results off of that are totally acceptable. My husband finds it easy to change out the filters and we also got the refrigeration kit and that has run flawlessly for two years. I feel like this company has refined every aspect of the water filtratiin system and given the most simple, best value, along with a combination of really high-quality that I can trust— I feel like this unit is the best all around RO water system out there and they’ve definitely earned my trust. There are other water systems out there that cost a whole lot more and have their own fancy take on what they think is the perfect water but I feel they’re chasing down rabbit holes that the general world population really doesn’t have to have to be healthy!!! Just good pure water with the right amount of minerals is sufficient and for that this model covers that need in a superior way without going overboard. We did get special testing done and tested the acidity and I was very pleased with how neutral everything came out I feel like it’s very healthy for our systems and our teeth. I would totally recommend this system for anyone really picky who wants low maintenance, ease of simple installation, very fast flow with the pump, excellent customer care ahead of the rest, and natural remineralization. Top notch.

Great system
UPDATE: I was contacted by the manager of the company regarding this problem. He offered an exchange of my system for an upgraded system better suited for the hardness of water in Indiana. I am tentatively giving a 5 star rating for the company's customer service and going above and beyond in fixing my problem. Tentatively - because I haven't yet received the upgraded system. I will update the review when I receive the new system. OLD REVIEW: This is a review after using the system for two years. I am giving it 1 star despite all the glowing reviews. This system worked perfectly when new, and I would have given it 5 stars, however I ran into a serious problem two years later, and my system is barely usable right now. Let me explain what happened. My system was running fine after two years of using it. Water tasted great and it was refilling fast (two hours to full tank from empty). Then I decided to change the filters even though as I said everything was fine. I hate to fix stuff when it works. My recent experience proved again there is a good rational for this. But the manual instructs to change filters after 1 year. I ordered a set of filters from Amazon. It was very easy to install. There was unclear muddy water coming out the first time I tried the system. The installation instructions informed me this was normal. I just needed to flush the system. I ran the whole tank the rough the faucet to flush the artesian filter. The water was clear after a while. But then I got into another problem. The tank was refilling very slowly. I did my own testing and I found that the new filters had good flow through them, but the blue RO filter stopped working correctly. Very slow flow through it even when one connects the orange tube with water supply directly to it. The RO filter became clogged after attaching the new filter set. Then I was testing for about 2-3 hours with technicians over the phone and essentially arrived to the same conclusion. The RO unit is blocked. The technician told me I needed to buy a new RO filter (103$ delivered with discounts). I told him that my RO filter was fine before I installed the new set of filters and that the system was running perfectly. To me it is obvious that there was some dirt (or whatever) in the carbon or sediment filter and that this dirt blocked my RO filter making it unusable now. The technician dismissed this as impossible and that there should be no dirt in the new filters. Maybe the new filters should not contain any dirt, but they did and my system (which was running perfectly) became unusable after installing the new set. On top of that, despite all the flushing (5-6 full tanks, the system does refill in 10-12 hours), the first glass of water that comes out of the system is not clear. This is after 3 days of flushing (as I said it takes a long long time to refill the system now). It is clear to me that the new filter set I bought is defective and I will return it through Amazon. However, my blue RO filter is not going to work again. It is now blocked permanently by installing the defective set of filters. My expectation is to get a new RO filter for free from the manufacturer. It was not my fault that it became blocked. It was still fully functioning before installing the new set (2 hours refill) and became blocked in a blink of an eye with the new filter set. This is not a coincidence as the technician tried to make me believe. The technician from the company dismisses this and insists that I should buy a new RO filter (the one that is supposed to work for 5 years). What was supposed to be just a filter change requires now $180 to make the system working again.

Best water ever
With all the concern of random chemicals in the water supply popping up in the news, I started investigating water purification solutions from filters attaching to the end of the faucet to whole house systems and prices varying from ten dollars to thousands of dollars. I decided that filtering the water at the kitchen sink and refrigerator covered 99% of the water we consumed. I had a old information that said reverse osmosis took 7 gallons of water to make one pure gallon of water. That is no longer the case. With Homemaster RO system the rate can be 1 to 1. That was huge. I also learned that simple multi-filtration solutions do not filter out many questionable chemicals, but RO systems do. Even with great city water management, not all potentially harmful chemicals are removed. Only with RO water filtration are you guaranteed the safest water for you and your family. I settled on the Home Master TMAFC-ERP Artesian Full Contact Reverse Osmosis System after an exhaustive internet search and talking to friends who had expensive RO systems installed by commerical water companies. Once I settled in on Home Master, I called their technical support line to help me sort through the minutia of detail separating their various RO solutions. Seriously, unless you're a water geek parsing the nuances between even the Home Master's systems can make you dizzy! After a couple minutes of questions from the tech, I got the perfect recommendation for my situation. I recommend that even the first time you order replacement cartridges that you call tech support to be sure you get just what you need. The system was delivered quickly, the online videos were helpful and technical support helped with my few remaining installation questions. If you can I would suggest installing it in a closet or utility room where changing filters is so much easier that kneeling under your sink. I've had my system for 3 years and found the replacement of filters very simple. Videos on the Home Master site helped me make sure I completed every step correctly. I feel great that I can stop buying bottled water and find it convenient to fill water bottles to take on the go, I know that water used for cooking or drinking in the house is safe and tastes great; their filtration cartridges add minerals back to the water giving it a satisfying and delicious flavor. Would I buy another one? In a heartbeat. In fact I am a remodeling contractor and have recommended Home Master RO systems to my clients. When part of a project, my plumber installs it for them and finds it an easy system to install. My homeowners find it easy to maintain.

Best RO system on the market - Tap Master Artesian Full Contact RO Unit
We installed the Tap Master Artesian Full Contact RO system in our kitchen 2 years ago and have been very pleased with the taste and overall performance of the unit. It lives up to its billing and advertised claims. The Tap Master Artesian Full Contact is the only RO unit on the market (that I know of) which remineralizes and neutralizes drinking water. This is important (see below) and the main reason I selected the unit. The unit is easy to install with standard tools and comes with all needed instructions. I did a lot of research on RO water purification before purchasing this unit. For the previous 10-15 years we had been using jug type water filters to improve the taste and reduce exposure to water treatment pesticides, chemicals (chlorine, etc) and heavy metal contaminants (e.g. lead from pipes) in municipal drinking water. I came across an article that basically said the jug type of filters do very little other than improve the taste and odor of the water. Apparently most chemicals, heavy metals and biological contaminants simply go right through typical charcoal type of filters and cartridges. There are a lot of different types of filters on the market, but Reverse Osmosis is the only method that I found, which eliminates all contaminants because of the way the RO membranes works. So I wanted to replace our water jug with a RO membrane unit. There is some controversy about using RO membranes for drinking water purification. In addition to eliminating all harmful contaminants (such as heavy metals, pesticides, chlorine, viruses/bacteria, etc), RO membranes also eliminate beneficial essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, etc. A second problem that RO membranes introduce is they make the water acidic, which is also not healthy and can cause corrosion of your pipes and teeth. To solve these two problems, one can manually add mineral drops to the water after RO treatment to restore the essential minerals and to rebalance the acidity (pH) of the water. Mineral drops, however, aren't convenient so they are not a practical solution. The Tap Master Artesian Full Contact is the only RO unit I found on the market that does this automatically with a remineralization cartridge. I guess the company has a patent on the concept so other RO manufacturers can't offer the remineralization feature. This is why the unit is expensive relative to other RO units on the market, but if you are buying bottled mineral water the additional cost of unit will pay for itself in 6 months. Plus, knowing what I now understand about mineral depleted RO water, I won't expose my family to the cheaper RO units. Our unit has worked flawlessly for 2 years (we changed the cartridges once on the normal change schedule). Very happy with the purchase decision and would buy the product again.

100 stars. All of the stars. I live in Kalamazoo, MI, and the city water here is disgusting and hard. This water filter makes my water taste actually delicious!!! Listen to me tho. Do NOT order thru Amazon. Go to their own website and order directly or call them to order. I ordered from Amazon like an idiot. Not only because it's stupid to support Amazon, but because my water filter arrived without the tank. At first I thought it was just me being dumb and that maybe the tank was sold separately, but it was Amazon. I contacted the company and they sent me a tank which took about 7 days to arrive. At that point, I started the install process, only to realize that the faucet shouldn't have passed quality control. At the base was a deformation in the metal causing it to not sit flush when properly secured to my sink. I contacted the company again, and the customer service was absolutely amazing both times, and not only did they send me a replacement faucet but they also made sure to make my experience excellent by sending me a set of filters to use next year for free. I was very impressed. It is so rare to experience high quality customer service these days. The installation video is easy to follow, and I was able to install everything by myself easily, including drilling a hole into my drain pipe under the sink to attach the drain for the filter system. I was so scared, and intimidated that I wouldn't be able to do it- but seriously it was easy. And now my water tastes amazing. No matter where you live, this water filter will take any kind of disgusting water and make it the best water you've ever had! If you're looking for a good filter system, you found it. I previously had it under sink aquasana filter system which just didn't taste very good. The aquasana system broke after less than a year, and they did replace it under warranty, but I had to install the whole thing again. They told me too bad. I purchased replacement parts and limped along, especially fighting with changing the filters every 6 months. With this system you only need to change your filters once a year, and it is made to be done easily. I wish I would have just bought this system in the first place! I'm not a robot, I'm a real person. I was not asked to write this review. I'm choosing to write this review because you all deserve to have delicious water!

I did a great job of filtering out impurities and made very good ...
I have had a Shaklee brand counter reverse osmosis purifier for over 20 years. I did a great job of filtering out impurities and made very good tasting water from our well water but it wasted a lot of water. We go through a lot of water and my septic couldn't handle it anymore and the filters were expensive to replace. So I did a lot of research before making my choice. I had a number of requirements that needed to be met. 1. It had be able to work with a lower pressure well 2. It needed have a low waste to water produced ratio 3. It needed to remove 99% or more of the impurities found in your typical farmland well 4. It needed to produce water that had a balanced pH level. 5. Filter changing needs to easy and at a reasonable cost The Home Master TMAFC-ERP Artesian Full Contact unit best matched my requirements. The unit is a bit on the pricey side considering it's not the most elegant of packaging. I will say that being very modular turned out for the better. It allowed me to keep everything I had under the counter in place. The long tubing gives you choices if you're strapped for space. I was a bit paranoid about the open tubing. I have it all secured and routed so it's out of the way. We'll see over time if it stays clean and in tact. I'm a real perfectionist when it comes to home projects so this turned into a half a day project after I decided to replace my hot and cold water shutoff valves under the counter before starting. I was prepared in case any of the quick hose connectors leaked. To my surprise I only had one connection with a small leak which was resolved by pushing the connection in. I really like how fast the water comes out of the faucet. It fills a glass in no time. I know people with the Culligan model and it's real slow coming out. You do hear the sound of water being sprayed in the drain pipe from the permeate pump. I'm not sure what can be done to silence it if it bothers you. I know when I hear it the system is working and the tank is refilling. I'd rather hear a little noise than waste a ton of water. After I had it setup and flushed through the first couple tanks of water I got a water test kit and compared it to my counter top model. It did a little better in all categories than the counter top model but was definitely an improvement in pH. I'm really happy about that. After drinking reverse osmosis water for so long I think it contributed to my acid reflux. After several weeks of drinking this water my gut feels better than it has in a couple years with out meds. The down side is the water has a different taste that I have to get used due to the re-mineralization. I think I can live with that. All in all I think I made the best choice. I only it gave it 4 stars because I'm not sure how well all the tubes and connections will hold over time with filter changes. If they do fail you can buy replacement tubing and connectors from the vendor web site. Time will tell.
