Habanero Flakes 4 Oz

I don't know if it's me or that they have dumbed down the heat of regular crushed red peppers to suit the masses but, I imagine it's a little bit of both. I use this 4oz container of habanero flakes to mix with 13oz of crushed red pepper to get the heat I remember. These are great for that although it does change the flavor somewhat. Some have complained that their containers are only 3/4 full. Well they must have heard you because this is the 2nd time I have bought this and it was full almost all the way to the top. Aprox 19/20th full. Anyway I find these to be a great addition to standard crushed red pepper or by it's self.

Great to have in the kitchen if you like spicy food. Great, somewhat smoky flavor and plenty of heat, but not atomic hot like ghost or scorpion peppers(it's still make-your-nose-run-hot though). Goes great on pizza, in pasta, or even as part of a dry rub for BBQ. If you order the 4 oz. size, it's gonna look like it's only about 3/4 full. I have a feeling that's because they use the same container that they'd use to ship 8 oz. Word to the wise: keep this away from your nose and eyes when you open it. If you breath too much of it, you WILL sneeze and your eyes might burn.

I use them on everything. Can be a bit much if I lose myself with the sprinkling.

These habanero flakes are spicy but not insanely spicy. I use them mainly to sprinkle on pizza. Plus, anything from Sonoran Spice is high quality.

Great tasting flakes. Lots of heat, and lots of flavor. However they could have probably fit a few more flakes in my bottle (pic was taken before I opened it). Looks quite a bit different than the pic of the full jar on the ad.

Slightly spicier than jalapeno which i was hoping for. Satisfied customer who will continue to purchase!

These are great but the seal was broken when delivered, and the replacement I ordered also had its seal broken. It seems the seals are so loosely attached they come undone just by unscrewing the top. This is really disappointing because the flakes are fantastic, but I refuse to use any food product that could’ve been tampered with

I love the flavor of Habanero. I used these to make an incredibly cream cheese spread: Start with a can of crushed pineapple. 1) drain the juice, 2) simmer the crushed pineapple, and add a teaspoon or two of the habanero flakes to the pineapple. The pineapple should be spicey hot. 3) Use a mixer to mix 1/2C of the Habanero pineapple into a pound of cream cheese add more of either to taste. Enjoy on crackers or carrot sticks or what ever you like.
