Volume 3 of Komi Can't Communicate continues the story of Komi and her work to overcome social anxiety and make more friends. This particular volume contains chapters 35 to 47. Unlike the first two volumes, volume 3 focuses less on introducing new characters in favor of putting Komi and her friends in some typical teenage situations such as studying for tests and going to a summer festival. This makes this volume more about the humor rather than much in character development. Some new characters are introduced such as an introduction of Komi's previously unseen father. As with the first two volumes, the artwork in this volume is excellent. I really appreciated the amount of work the artist put into everything including having some detailed backgrounds to the very expressive faces of the characters. While most of the humor is good, some of it does fall a little flat as the characters find themselves in some rather clichéd situations such as an ersatz beach episode where they go to a local swimming pool. Overall, I enjoyed this volume of Komi Can't Communicate. If you enjoyed the first two volumes, you will very likely enjoy this one as well.

This series just continues to keep me coming back for more. I just have to see how Komi will try to reach her goal and how Tadano will try to help her out. The growing cast of supporting characters just add to the fun for each scenario. Definitely a series I will keep reading.

Love the story of Komi so I give a recommendation

I have not much to say(since I don't want to spoil something) but I will say only this . Even though the story is simple , the author , despite that succeeds and keeps the interest at same level (which is very high ) and even higher and with each new volume I read , new characters are introduced . And remember ,sometimes simplicity is the best and the ''Komi san can't communicate'' manga series is a great example of that . Also the jokes as always are really really good and relaxing . That is all . I 101 % recommend you buy this volume and keep buying all the volumes as they come out . It is really unique manga series .

I don’t always have the right order of what manga I’m trying to collect because they’re never in stock at bookstores but I don’t have my 1,2, and 4 because a friend is borrowing them. I love this manga and can’t wait for the adaptation in October 2021! Komi is adorable and so is Todano💕
