Book is good and if people can practices these principles then world will be a better place. Sometimes people have to face different challenging situations however if a person can stick to these principles then harmony will prevail.Pushkar

I am enjoying this book and I need the blunt advice put forth by Edward de Bono. The content is straightforward and the examples are helpful and relevant to understanding the concepts. I think that many people will find the advice obvious, but for someone such as myself who needs a hand with thinking, communication, and analysis, the chapters and their summaries are useful as another one of my tools for understanding my brain and my life.

Edward de Bono provides some in-depth perspective of acts that you do already and how to amplify those into having a beautiful mind. It's an interesting and unique book that is must read for everyone!

It is a book that helps people to steer oneself. The distinguish aspect of agree and disagree. All the suggestions try to help oneself to be more effective in live. After all, we people would like to be more effective, made less mistakes and smoother. To prepared that it is not gonna make one to be person with beautiful mind, but at least at the good point knowing where to head to. In short, recommended.

This book works for so many different levels and for so many applications, it's a must have for me.I make a point of reading it at least once a year. I've got a hard copy and now one on my iPad, lovely book to 'dip into' whenever I have some time.I bought this book initially to improve sales, but it has affected every area of my life.

As a fan of Edward de Bono and his innovative and important thinking methods I was very disappointed with this book and found much of the content to be very obvious and not very interesting... in fact the best bit for me was his summary of the Six Hats thinking method !

Good book, nice recommendations to improve conversation and listening skills. Highly recommended to have it as a reference book. Debono did it again.

The most amazing book i have read, expansion of the brain and heart is guaranteed. Well written. Delivery is always amazing with amazon.

Mir wurden die Ideen von Edward De Bono im Zusammenhang mit einem sehr motivierenden und guten Vortrag empfohlen. Daher habe ich mir dieses Buch zugelegt. Nach nur zwei Kapiteln habe ich zurück zum Inhaltsverzeichnis geblättert um zu prüfen, ob da ggf. noch mehr kommen kann - leider sah es nicht danach aus. Für mich besteht der Text nur aus Allgemeinplätzen, vielleicht für Teenager ganz ok, die noch nicht so viele Gespräche geführt und verschiedene Menschen kennen gelernt haben (Lebenserfahrung). Die Kapitel sind leider allesamt zu kurz um in die Tiefe zu gehen, daher hat es mich gelangweilt. Ich habe dann noch das Kapitel über die "six thinking hats" aufgeschlagen, da es hierzu ja ein eigenes Buch gibt... aber auch mit diesem Konzept konnte mich Edward de Bono leider nicht fesseln. Ich habe das Buch also weggelegt und werde es ggf. bald in einen offenen Bücherschrank stellen, damit es dort jemand anders zu "a beautiful mind" verhelfen kann... ich scheine dafür nicht gemacht.Hinweis: Diese Bewertung basiert im Wesentlichen auf nur drei Kapiteln, die ich gelesen habe. Der Rest könnte super sein... könnte...

It is really astonishing how the workings of the mind have been deciphered and put in such simple effective words. I could not put the book down once I started and could relate everything that was intended by the author. A book that would need a lot of revisits to ensure the message is translated into action.

I found the book well written with lots of useful and relevant information. However it was a bit too theoretical for me. It is written in a way that appeals to the left (logic/reasoning) half of the brain. A beautiful mind I expected would cover a lot of synergy between the two sides of the brain and offer some practical and fun examples to try out to enhance creativity, emotions and sensory experiences. An Ebook offers opportunities to link to other online content, which was lacking for this type of publication.I think given the great experience and expertise of the author, this book could have offered a much deeper and engaging approach to this very interesting topic.
