Review: Just like I remember from when I was a kid! - These smell JUST like the "punks" my parents used to get when I was a kid! We have a pool in our backyard, and we always used to put these around the edge of the pool at night so we could swim and not get too bothered by mosquitoes. These aren't really intended to get rid of mosquitoes, so don't use them in place of bug spray (especially now with Zika going around), but the smoke does seem to deter bugs. Plus, these just smell great. They've got a pleasant, earthy smell when you burn them (completely different from what they smell like straight out of the bag). I mostly got these because of the nostalgia factor (they smell JUST like they did when I was little!), but they're good to burn if you're sitting outside and want to keep some of the bugs away. Again, don't burn these with the expectation that you won't get any mosquito bites -- that's just not true. But it's a nice alternative to slathering on bug spray, you just have to be ready to get a couple bites here and there (just not as many bites as you would get normally). Review: Great for small fireworks. - I don't use them for incense but for lighting bottle rockets. Works great in wind and I don't have to worry about wasting matches or other lighters that go out in wind.

Great to make your own incense!
These things are awesome! I am having a blast making my own incense! I've ordered them twice now & will be purchasing more! I have a lot of fragrance oils and I plan to try each & every one of them lol...I have not tried using any essential oils yet, mainly because of cost, but they hold fragrance VERY, VERY well! They arrive perfectly packaged, unbroken and are great quality! They light & burn just like any other incense stick and with a normal amount of smoke...when I get up in the morning, I can still smell whatever scent I burned the night before so they keep my house smelling amazing too! Absolutely recommend!

outdoor lovers will love these
These are great on keeping those little nats away from your face! They light easily and stay lit. They have no scent like other punk sticks used to have. However, the individual sticks are rather skinny but still burn for about 20 minutes to half hour. A good deal for the price. I was glad to find them as the bugs have been terrible this year!

These go up in smoke but that's okay!
I made my first batch of scented incense using these sticks and essential oils. To dry the soaked sticks I bought a cheap four holed toothbrush holder to keep the sticks separate after soaking them in the oil. The burn rate was about the same as an already scented stick about 20-30 minutes depending on the environment. Very well made and they did not skimp on the stuff that soaks up the oil. I look forward to many more sweet smelling batches in future. I smell Christmas trees in the future!

Sticks okay, Shipping OUTRAGEOUS.
Not too much to say, they're simple incense sticks. Shipping time was good, but the cost was INSANE. $13.45 for 5 packs which were shipped in a padded priority mail envelope which runs $5.70 BEFORE any discounts. The pros: The sticks are cheap, they burn well and absorb fragrance well. The cons: The sticks are not very uniform. It's like the cheap incense you can find vice the more expensive. Some sticks are good and solid, others are flimsy tiny slivers. The coated part is not very consistent either (like you would find in a more expensive stick). Overall, if you're doing a home project, these are fine, but if you want any retail sales you should be looking for something that looks a bit better and doesn't cost a fortune to ship

I like the smell, reminds me of punk incense sticks from the 60s.
I like the smell of these. They remind me of punk incense sticks from the 60s. They say unscented but any burning wood product is going to put out a smell. I think by unscented that they can be scented to a custom blend you create. But as they are, the smell is calming, smells fresh and I use them to keep the bugs away on my back porch.
