The order arrived several days early which was great. As others have said it comes with NO instructions, not even a photo of the assembled holder. Putting it together wasn't hard, nor was attaching it to the windshield with the grey suction cup. What you need to know is there is a button on the back that each time you press it the jaws that hold the phone open up a bit more. Press the button to open them enough to be able to put your phone in. I attached the holder and a couple of days later need to lower it to a better position. It was very hard to get the suction cup to release. I got it moved but didn't let it set long enough to hold properly. Once I let it sit for an hour or so it holds fine. My one worry is the materials seem cheap. I hope it lasts a while. My wife is planning on getting one and I may get a second as a backup. Very satisfied so far.

Love this phone holder! First it came in a decent package; however, it had no instructions! With looking over the few parts, it did not take me long to put it together! Each part is flexible and easy to move around and has adjustments known to tighten parts in place and stable the position one prefers! The only thing was a little confusing at first was the ball on the mount, I learn I had to unscrew the circle top from back of the phone holder, place it on the ball and then with minor little force, push the ball into the screw part on back of the phone holder and then tighten the screw part up! As for the longer piece connection, it can easily be adjusted and also tighten up to stand in a perfect position with the bottom knob towards the sunction! I love how there is a triangular push button on the back of the phone mount part to push! The button opens up the adjustment part so any phone size can fit into it. Afterwards, you press in to lock the phone in place! This is a great phone mount that I highly recommend!

Update: I can no longer use it. Kinda bummed cause I thought this was a great product for its price, but it will not keep my phone upright and it will not remain intact on my dash. (For reference, I live in PA and the weather is typically mild). I dropped my review from a 3-star to a 2-star due to this.I’ve used this mount for about 10 months now..it’s not the most sturdy as it has fallen over and became loose quite a few times on me, but it does its job. For what it’s worth it isn’t too shabby and you definitely get what you pay for

This left a mark that can not be removed on the dash of my brand new car after only being on there a couple days! It did hold great and worked well other than that. But because of this I had to return it. If you are going to attach it to the windshield than it is fine. But the only place I could put it where it was not obstructing my view, or where I had to run a long charging cord across my steering wheel, was on the dash.

i placed it on my dashboard. The suction holds for a while and then it pops off. It damaged my dashboard leaving a giant bubble. It’s like it pulled the surface of the dash. I am beyond upset. I put one in my daughter’s car and it’s fine because her surface is a solid hard plastic with no coating. There should be a giant warning all over this item. I have no idea what it will cost to repair my dashboard but I’m guessing quite a bit of money or the only thing I can think to do is try to inject glue into the bubble with a tiny needle and push it down OR just live with a giant ugly bubble On my dashboard to look at daily! Warning warning warning. Do not buy this item.

I've tried so many mounts. Non seem to last or even work as advertised. This is the real deal at a reasonable price point too. What really sets this apart for me is the fact that it cradles my iPhone along with its leather case so nicely. Many of the other mounts on the market only allow for the iPhone when it's NOT in a protective case. Additionally, this mount is sturdy. It has a number of interesting adjustment points and it does not shake. I'm very pleased. No, I am not being paid for this review. But really, it's about time.

First, this arrived the day after I ordered it. I was surprised at the promptness of the delivery. The day after I got it, I took it to the high school where I teach. I had the students get their phones out and tried 6 different phones in it to see how secure they were. All of them were in cases and every one of them was held securely when I turned the holder upside-down. The phones ranged fro an I phone 5 to an LG to a Samsung Galaxy. I really liked how the button automatically moved the phone holder rather than me trying to pull it out. They suction cup is very strong and I am very pleased with this item The bottom of the holder was adjustable that allowed it to be used for different phones that have different places where the charger cord would be attached.

What I liked about this is the number of ways to adjust it. The problem is I mounted it on my windshield as pictured in the ad. After a month of leaving it in place it came off and not just dropped but ripped off of the suction cup. I can no longer use it for anything. Of course it's after 30 days so no return to Amazon and it doesn't come with a warranty card address or anything so I'm out of luck. Worst part is I have another one but I guess I will throw it out waste of money to bad looked good too.
