(CDHV-20) 20 Foot Length Discharge Hose with Drip Proof Valve

It worked well using a Flow Jet macerator. I used it to pump up to a 42 gallon "Blue Boy" in the back of a pickup truck.The "drip free" valve works. It is helpful to be able to see the contents in the hose, especially when backflushing. I cannot compare it to a narrower hose, but when pumping out a 30 tank and flushing the hose the pump showed no signs of heating up. I cap both ends with PVC caps when putting it away. It is just neater and cleaner.It connected easily to my tank using some PVC threaded connectors with a Valtera PVC pipe to bayonet adaptor.Note that when it is cold out the hose is less flexible.

Worth the money especially if your in a hurry

I paired this hose with a $70 macerator pump but I had to buy additional parts to complete the system. The flow is excellent and can pump sewer from our RV to a higher elevation sewer outlet.These parts on the photo are not expensive but required me to do a bit of experimentations. I permanently mounted a macerator under my Roadtrek. The hose works well and attached to the macerator with the adapter I bought separately. I don't have much trouble keeping the hose in the Roadtrek bin as others have.I have a sewer at my house, so I was hoping to use this hose at dump sites and be able to dump at home by extending the hose with a garden hose. Much to my surprise, the white valve is threaded at the end, but it's not a standard garden hose size. You can't even buy an adapter to extend this hose, you need to screw off the whole white fitting at the end and buy an adapter for the 1" female end to garden hose. It's a bit of a hassle to have to do this every time when they could just make the threading at the end of the white valve be a 3/4 garden hose.

WARNING! If you have an Airstream Interstate motorhome, this will NOT work! It's too big. Unfortunately, I ordered this last fall for a Spring project and just recently opened the box. The hose they sent looks nothing like what's pictured. It's actually white. The Airstream uses a 1" outer diameter with a 3/4" inner diameter. This hose has a 1" inner diameter. The ad is misleading in that they advertise 1" but they don't if it's outer or inner and like a fool I fell for the bait. Too late to return so I'm out $$$$$$. I suggest you open it right away and check it. As I said, my hose doesn't look like the picture.

I was concerned by reviews mentioning stiffness. I’m not sure what those people expected but this is a quality product. For its diameter it’s actually quite flexible and easy to work with. I’m very happy with the purchase. I won’t need the much larger and bulkier sewer hoses anymore. This will allow me to boondock and transfer the sewage to a portable waste tank. A+

My RV macerator hose isn't long enough to connect to the house cleanout sewer line. This extension adds the necessary length. Upon dumping the RV tanks, I flush the tanks with fresh water to clean out everything including the hoses. The extension hose is a little stiff, but not enough to cause a problem. I coil it up and store it behind a fence when not in use.

High quality hose, as compact as possible, sure if its shorter it obviously will take up less room. I'm using this with a Flojet pump, and remote control, how COOL is that ? I sure like this better than a 3 inch gravity hose, which gets disgusting fast, as you'll never be able to totally flush it out. A one inch hose can be flushed CLEAN, we appreciate that.
