Jakar Teletubes with Strap - Jumbo

Ok but not great
It's ok and will do the job but has a couple of failings. The strap looks like it won't last long. In fact, it broke about 20 yards from the house. I managed to fix it but found I had to be very careful to stop the same happening again throughout my trip and so it was more hassle than it was worth. I've managed to wear other models over my back with a rucsac on but that just wasn't possible with this model because of the frailty of the strap. The tube is wide. That might sound like a good thing but it means that when your strap breaks or when you want to hold the tube directly (such as in crowded places like the underground or airport security) it is difficult unless you have massive hands. It really is too large to grip. The plastic is this and easily deformed. If you manage to grip it directly you'll likely crush it.It does the trick but there are better tubes on the market.

Poster tube
There's nothing more frustrating when you are travelling to a conference and having to manhandle cardboard tubes with posters on and off trains/underground/buses.This product is the ideal solution, as it is quite robust and has its own carry strap. It is wide enough to easily accommodate the cardboard tubes themselves if you really wanted to (and comfortably several posters on their own, even with velcro tabs on them), and extends by a clever "pull, twist and lock" mechanism to suit A0 posters.Nothing fancy about it, made from black plastic with a screw-on lid, but it does the job - will have to see how long the strap fixings survive, as they look the weakest part of the set-up.

air travel
I had to transport several posters by air. On one airline, I had to send two tubes strapped together as a "bag" in the hold. They made it through that experience and in general the tubes have served me well. But one of them ended up with a broken strap and a lid that had a tendency to fall off. I like the expandable feature, but it doesn't always lock well when you want it to. I haven't seen any tubes that are better, but I think there is still room for improvement with this product.

Disappointed with the quality
We bought the Jumbo Teletube and the plastic piece holding the handle in place broke the first time it was used. We thought it was something we had done and bought another but exactly the same happened. We have used the smaller ones for one or two drawings and they are fine so bought the Jumbo one to carry several drawings but although the drawings fit into the tube fine, the plastic piece holding the handle is not strong enough for the extra weight.

Nice and wide - very sturdy
I am studying for a distant learning art degree and needed something to send my work to my tutor in. I previously used cardboard tubes but they were expensive for what they were and difficult to buy in small numbers. I really wanted something that was wide enough to get a lot in and strong enough to send in the post. This has done the job nicely. I would definitely recommend.

Broken on arrival.
Arrived promptly, however it did arrive broken. The lid would not screw into place and the strap was loose due to the buckle holding it in place to have snapped, I expected more as this seemed like the best one i could buy on amazon. Clearly not.
